And of course we need to read our granth because Sanatan Granth is something from where the whole world is created from where everything has been came the treasure of knowledge. and when it comes to schools I think at least they should teach Sanskrit in every school it should be compulsory.
Outside of India these Western countries are teaching Sanskrit In their schools there are big big University in Western countries where they teach Sanskrit only these westerners no how much Sanskrit is important then why not we Indians.
To understand the Granth even more deeply you need Sanskrit.

All religions are not same. My religion doesn't call others as 'Kafir'. It gives freedom to question. It promotes science, art and music, while Abrahamic religion do the opposite. By the way, its time to expand our domain, and read, and learn... and then choose what's right.

All religions are not the same. Of course there are some similarities but there are drastic differences as well. The definition of God itself is different in abrahamic faiths( Christianity, Islam, Judaism) compared to that in dharmic ones( Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism).
