This version gives off a more hurt/sad feel while the original has a bit more of an angry/defiant feel.
You'd be surprised just how often those two emotions exist in tandem.
It the best female version out there of 'I will not blow'!, even if I would have loved to have it even more badass.

Technically it's referring to the (rather ancient) act of "Bowing" which includes but is not limited to a kneeling stance before a leader or superior. By saying "I will not bow" - one is effectively saying "I will not be ruled." and implying that "I have no restraints with which to bond me to you.".

Truly magnificent. This version is truly amazing on how it's more of a journey feel to it rather than a fighting style. But this could be a way of leading to a great battle.

The only reason it's not already my favorite song (it's that good) is because I love the original version, and I prefer it. Still the best cover of it I have ever heard though :)
I prefer this one a lot more. The original is good, but the dude clearing his throat into the mic isn't my thing.
I like this one because I can picture this in some anime. Perhaps a story where a princess is outcasted and becomes the villan so her people have something to finally unite against.
It's just more emotional, and I think that is better because you can interpret it as anything.
The original, yeah... but it took me 12 years to realize that they probably weren't going for the message that I had originally thought it was lol

Really is this Nightcore? It doesn't sound sped up, and though the tonality is altered it seems like it's not excessive to the normal levels seen in Nightcore. I will admit many of the words in this version are like hearing a foreigner speak English, they know the words, but it's slightly different to the original lyrics I'm used to. (That being a "true" nightcore of BB instead of a female cover nightcored covering). Exceedingly long story short, it feels weird when she says "I will not fade" because I'm used to hearing "I will not fake". Also Cold Bloodied Face is in this version "Cold Blooded Face" which is a slightly different context.
@@myst.leissa yeah I had those exact thoughts during my first listening of this video. Nightcore is typically associated with the amplification of a song’s speed, which can give people an altered POV of it. I usually prefer this female aesthetic with nightcore videos as I feel a greater emphasis is put on some lyrics when compared to the conventional methods you typically see in nightcores. When she says “show me where forever dies,” I feel a slight ease with my ongoing existential crisis knowing there’s an end to everything, and I don’t think I could’ve gotten this same association with any other version of this song. @@myst.leissa I always thought it was saying fade and not fake even in the original. Fade sounds so much better. Fake sounds kinda lame if u ask me. Fade just fits better.

The princess, dawned in armor and tired from what had happened...
Somewhere far beyond the city walls is a battlefield dotted with the bodies of countless hopeful youths, a failed rebellion staged to end the tyranny of the princesses' eldest sister.

In the distance echoes the tears of a young child, not a soldier or a civilian... but a witness. A witness to the violence of a nation torn between two sisters fighting on opposite sides... one upholding family reign, desperately trying to live up to the legacy left behind by their late parents...
The other... once young and wide-eyed... desperate to end the reign of her tyrannical family... a traitor to her kingdom but a hero to the masses left to rot beyond the city walls.
The child cried out, her screams ripping the roaring crowd into silence as her pleas go heard but unanswered. The child alone witnessed the battle from a distance, drawn from her village by the noise she had seen it all from atop a nearby hill...
The younger princess joined the rebels in the fight... an act unheard of by the public and scoffed at by nobility. Royal blood should never be spilled among the vermin sent into the fire, and yet there, she stood. Seeing her soldiers not as expendable but as what they were... living, breathing people... men and women.
The younger princesses fought alongside the commonfolk; she bled, cried, and killed alongside those whom she swore to protect. A twelve-year-old girl cast out from her home by her own kin... bravely putting her life on the line for her soldiers as they did the same for her...
When asked for her last words, the younger princess, bound in cold... hard chains... exhausted from the fighting and tired of the violence... she just looked up to her sister and smiled...
A smile as warm as the sun, as loving as a mother... and more mature than any adult would ever be.
"I have no regrets... I hope that you feel the same"
Though her final words sounded snarky, there was a hint of an another meaning... her voice did not sound of hate or spite but of genuine compassion... as her gaze peirced her suster, the younger princess accepted her fate as the executioner rose his axe...
The older princess knew what her younger sister had meant... she was perhaps the only one. Her sister, in her own way, wanted her to not regret her decision... knowing that it would haunt her for the rest of her life if her commitment to executing her younger sister wavered even an inch...
And it did...
But they had both gone too far to stop this... too much blood had been spilled on both sides for there to be any other end. As her little sister smiled warmly at her and the child cried out in the distance, the axe swung downward in a single clean thrust...
But the colder princess couldn't look... she couldn't watch her sister be taken from her by her own command...
As the city burst into life, the people cheered. The war was over!
But a new one had secretly begun within the heart of the princess. Was it the right thing? Could it have ended differently? She knew that it couldn't... and she knew that her sister knew...
They both accepted their fates, they had both come to terms with the price that had to be paid...
But that didn't make it hurt any less... that night, amidst the drunken cheering and nightly celebration, went unheard tears within the castle.... guilt and regret wailed throughout the halls and by morning the fatecof the older princess was discovered as the gaurds opened the door to see only the open window leading to the balcony...
The broken... bloody figure below ending the tyrannical reign of the royal family...
