Hey Dr. Awan, US-IMG here. Past cycle did not match into DR but am starting a preliminary residency in surgery in CA. Any tips/advice on successfully matching into DR for this year's match? Thank you!
Hello Dr. Awan, I'm an IMG looking to match into DR. In my country medical school are 8 years, we don't have to do college. My first 4 years of medical school, are definitely not great, but my last 4 years are pretty good. I passed step 1 and I got a decent Step 2 score, I got LORs, research, and LORs. Do I have to be worried for those four first years of medical school? Btw I'm super super nervous, I don't want to give up my dream, but I definitely need someone to tell me the truth.

hii i am an img from india.I cant say that i have excellent med school score and gave one supplimentary exam in first year,and i have visa and planning to do electives in usa.I am still in med school final year. I have 2 research going on in internal medicine and cardiology.i am also planning to do radiology research. Is there a fair amount of chance that i can match into diagnostic radiology? any help will be very valuable to me. thank you
