@ Planning Engineer FZE. Hello Sir, How are you doing? Regarding calculation of duration the correct formulas are listed below Duration = Quantity/Productivity if Productivity = units/hours Duration = Quantity * Productivity if Productivity = hours/units So duration will be 10 days if productivity is 10 units/hr and totals units are 100
Mr. Hany has always been a motivation / a huge support for any being and upcoming Planning Engineers... And Eng. Shahbaz got an opportunity to handle the project all alone after his first 2 years is on one way good for him but on other way he lack the support from the Manager from how most would have learned. So this is the situation where Mr. Hany comes in.
Hi, You are a good interviewer and it’s good interaction I would like to interact with you I have 12 years experience in projects and maintenance planning
AA sir, My question is related to resource allocation. If we want to assign resources to a concreting activity, 150 Cum concrete(with a selling price 70$/Cum) for instance, How and what resources will we allocate to this activity? Options I am thicking about are; 1. Calculate required resources by dividing the concrete quantity with productivity rate of the resources. In this scenario, how would we deal with profit margins and overhead expenses? Is there any option for allocating these two to the activity? If we dont assign these two, how can we perform EVM?
You're able write paragraphs but you could not say salam completely. What's this AA? It's not any normal word to abbreviate like this. If you don't have time to say completely then don't say this, don't mislead the people otherwise they will start doing this.
Can someone help me understand this example from the video? What exactly does he mean by mandays? and how does 100mandays is the answer? Its confusing as it was elaborated as 10units/hr and 10hrs/unit. Available: 100 units, Need: 10units/hr, Working: 10hr/d
As my knowledge : Several different bro. As project engineer not only handle vendors( client) , estimation , bid etc. But as planner : i think they have some limits … planner dont have access to client data process to monitoring, inspection sheduling… But project engineer will control all aspects pmi meeting level upto delivery…
Assalamualeikum, recently found your videos on UA-cam. Thank a lot. It helped me a lot. I'm working as planning engineer since 2015, I'd like to contact you if it's possible, have some questions. Thanks again Greetings from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿
Hello Hany, my POV, this guy misses some basic concepts regarding Planning. Do not qualify for SPE. Even he needs to put in more time to secure knowledge and prove himself a PE at the first step indeed.
