Sorry to all those that complained about me speaking. I didnt know this would be as popular and this was only the second short I ever made. I would have stayed quiet if i knew better at the time.
Yeah and the crazy part is they are getting closer and i see more of them daily. Still havent been in the damn pool which is serving more as a decoration right now, fml.
I miss Cicadas.. Not seen in years here in Australia.. Wpnt be long , until quietness..SUDDENLY... Does sound like running water... Its NATURE... I love enjoy SOUNDS OF NATURE....❤❤❤
Here in UT they just sound like really angry static (I hate them BTW) they're actually deafening It may be because there's less or because my grandma's house is so close to where they decide to shred my eardrums at 8 in the morning
I grew up in Georgia and recently moved to south Carolina and they sound exactly like this video in south Carolina but in Georgia it sounds completely different
Here too, I'm in the Caribbean next to a national park and you can hear them in waves making noise, btw ours sound higher pitched then those in the video.
I started hearing this noise about 2 weeks ago since 6:31am all the way to 7:48pm I thought I was going crazy thought we had shifted into a different dimension 😂😂😂😂
I live in Harford County, and I love it when they emerge. I love listening to cicadas, and they’re fun insects that are completely harmless to pretty much everything but your ears. It always makes me laugh how grown adults will run in terror from one of the least bitey insects around.
Holy crap. This whole time I thought it was my neighbor with a lot of her machines in her backyard. (She has a personal large garden pond with water filtering systems)
I heard a bunch of these creatures in the forest of Da Lat, Vietnam….didn’t know what was causing the sounds at the time but it was very powerful symphony of sounds of each creature combined at once to create a constant thundering sound in the far distance
yeah it was nuts here when it happened in 2021. Lasted about 6 weeks and almost like a light switch they were all dead and gone after a chilly night with rain in late June.
This is a very similar noise that I've had in my head for at least 40 yrs. Maybe not as loud but definitely a steady noise!!! I tell my Drs and they just basically write it down and do NOTHING to help me!!! It's about to drive me crazy!!!
I survived 2 sessions of Brood X in MD too. all the buildings downtown harbor were covered and had this same noise. plus echoes near my house because its so quiet. The summer ones have nothing on these guys! I feel like they will triple in 2038... so crazy!!!
This is so wild... I'm hearing this in my neighborhood and was wondering so I looked up cicada noise and I got your video and it's in my headphones, when Im listening to your video in my earbuds and take em out and it's same sound... It's like I didn't take my earbuds out.
@@MdScratchJedi I remember that as a kid. That sound.... The gradual in and out sound it's so cool to me. Reminds me of being at our cabin in The Northwoods of Wisconsin after dinner sitting around a campfire. I LOOOOVE that
Yeah we had some where i lived in pa. Youd hear maybe 2-5 of them at a time yapping to each other. I love that sound because i just remember the fun summer days with friends when i hear that sound.@jillybeancadney6229
No, Thank you that sounds annoying. I would think it would drown the sound of other wildlife ie; birds? I am not sure. We just moved from the suburbs to mountain property. I am researching sounds I am unfamiliar with. I was installing a lamp post the other day and I moved my toolbox on wheels closer and I heard a sound that sounded to me like a Warning. To me, it sounded like electricity, a hot wire or lighting I can't explain it. We have locusts here which I am battling and winning the war (for now) but I don't think we have cicadas it doesn't sound like that. Whatever the "thing" was it didn't want me close to "their" bush. Thanks for sharing MountainAngel Sierra Foothills Calif. side.
Oh confirmed what I'm hearing is totally different. Around me it sounds like a huge water pump is struggling and with a hit of the light sabers moving so slowly.
Sorry to all those that complained about me speaking. I didnt know this would be as popular and this was only the second short I ever made. I would have stayed quiet if i knew better at the time.
Fuck em. Great video dude. I was satisfied.
Like the person above me said, “fuck em”!
Live your life my man! I love the sounds of cicadas!
Nothing to apologise for my dude. Thank you for sharing!
You were fine to me...
Don't listen to em.
It sounds like background music to a horror movie 💀
Don't worry that's normal sound
It does…

I thought mine was bad nvm there just as bad I love hearing hail cicadas on my metal roof
I love the sound of Cicadas. It rocks me to sleep like magic.

What in the world are you sure this isn't your first time experiencing this
@@MelB868 I grew up with this sound. It's out of my control. I hear this sound and I'm out like a light in 5 minutes.
I feel the same way but with crickets, they're so nostalgic for me
the sound of the summer, love cicadas
The ones down here in Texas sound lovely
Yeah, I wouldn't be going outside!!! That's creepy 😳🤣🤣

@@MdScratchJedi If i was you. Id move
@@Coritintianoo why? They can’t bite
Edit: red the creators reply. Yeah he should move

That’s beautiful
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day Peggy Quinones!
Yeah sure to hear it for 10 seconds on a phone until your there and have to live with it. I'd rather later to peeper frogs
I love the sounds of cicadas
They’re back !
That’s what I hear going outside in Georgia right now. Them cicadas are loud.
Yeah, that would drive me crazy.
I love those sounds as much as i enjoy silence in the cold winter 🤩
I like their noises
My favorite sound to sleep. ❤
They are cute so I'm not scared I touched one before.

This is happening for days right now at my house in North Carolina! It's so loud
Yup, shit was crazy when it happened here. Could sit outside or keep the windows open it was just that loud.
Not a noise, but their mating sound. Love it ❤
Love cicadas. I keep them as pets
Oh that is so awesome
Thanks so much Scratching in Harmony and have a good one!
Im Colorado amd Oklahoma they sound so loud but I been around them my whole life and it’s so calming to me

I just started hearing them at house today I didn’t know what it was this really helped
The wooded area behind my house was where they were and they slowly started moving closer and louder. They were gone around and of June
There are also every year cicadas too
Yeah I hear those time to time and pretty much never see them but nothing like this.
Yeah they are just as loud at times but you don't see them like these guys until they start losing life
I love it!
That's what it sounds like at my house too I haven't heard anything like that in my life the first time I ever seen them til like a few days ago or so
I love the sound of cicadas
I’m excited for the cicada rave
Go to Australia in Summer. This would be a quiet day.
I’ve heard this noise for the past 4 days at my house and couldn’t figure it out. Thanks!
Love that sound reminds me of beautiful Greece ❤
Oh that doesn't sound too bad.
I can hear them in the field next to my house..it’s so loud!
Better than listening to upstairs neighbors above your head
Sounds just like my backyard down in Tennessee!
Bro has his own background theme
The cicadas where I live are loud and they make the sound all day
It's kind of like rain🤗
That too!
With techno added😂
Anyone from Bad Friends!? 😂😂

This was like nothing I've ever experienced. We have another form of cicada that hangs around annually but not in these numbers.
I love cicadas but i live in Georgia and they don’t sound like that? Anyways. They are the music of summer that never gets old.
I live in Ga and my back sounds just like that.
@@chaddaniel6465 Mine too!
Take a trip to dasset trails in Ga and that's all you hear.. they are bad this yr
Sounds like and old-school television space ship to me Lol!
Texas cicadas: peaceful
japans cicadas: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Sounds like aliens.
It honestly could have been worst . That sounds soothing
I could hear them clearly. I'm in NC, and it's driving me nuts! I couldn't figure out what the noise was until my daughter told me. 😂

@MdScratchJedi I was wondering how long we will have to hear this. While I enjoy nature, these bugs aren't one of them. 😂🤣

This is what my tinitus sounds like 24/7 for the last 6 years. Non stop.
What causes your tinnitus and how do you manage it?
@@vamos419it can happen randomly but usually caused by really loud sounds like constant fire. Soldiers experience this
I never knew them to sound like that
It sounds like a classic ufo sound
Got lots of them here
Sounds like heavy wind or busy traffic.
I love it
“It’s so quiet out here. You don’t have yo listen to those city workers.” They said….
The cicadas where I’m from go “weee-oh wee-oh weee-oh”
Sounds like the random ones we have here yearly.

This was the 17 year periodical species.

Almost as large as a pinky finger.
