- Happy New Year!! Hope you guys have a fantastic 2020! I'll try to fill it up with Reylo edits for you! :P
This has an alternative ending! ;) Forgive my manips, I haven't done them in years...
Would their new name be "Ren"? Rey + Ben? :O
Anyway, someone suggested this song in comments to me and I had to get it edited to Reylo (even though I said no more). Hope you all enjoy another edit of these babes.

Kylo Ren showed like no facial expression the whole movie and when they kissed and he smiled, it melted my heart
he showed tons of facial expressions just not happy ones
He actually did show so many expressions, especially sad and conflicted ones... I believe this is why we love him ❤ we knew he wanted to pull away from all of that evil

They kinda did. They got together at the end and enjoyed each other even just for a moment. We know Rey can have all the jedi power into her, so Ben can probably connect to her through that, since he ultimately became a jedi

Omg yes! I just realized that as I was watching this edit. The ending was very sad, but if you think about it, they kind of left it open, because they said nothing about Ben’s death. And this is Star Wars, so basically anything can happen. For 40 years everyone thought Palpatine was dead yet here he is in the latest movie. SW is such a huge franchise, I can’t imagine Disney not taking advantage of it, so maybe we’ll see Ben Solo again, hopefully not in 40 years.

It's like Marc Darcy's marriage proposal to Elizabeth Bennet. It's very cold and clumsy, but how much love in these words !
Ben Solo wasn't used to flirting with girls. When he was young, Ben was raised by nannies droids (Han and Leia were often absent). Then Ben was raised by Luke, and finally by Snoke.
It didn't teach him tact, which is why his declaration of love seems shocking. But you can feel Ben loves really Rey. When you know Ben's upbringing, it's very amazing that he's able to love Rey so much. It's almost a miracle.
And Ben saves Rey as much as she saves him. Ben says several times to Rey : "Let the past die. Let go !" because he saw that Rey was wasting her life waiting for her dead parents. He wakes her up as much as she wakes him up. Even if Ben's words make Rey suffer, they're true. Ben is honest with her.
Since he is the man of her life, he unknowingly awakens the Force in Rey when he questions her for the first time. The prince awakens the princess in several ways.
I think Reylo is the most beautiful couple of all Star Wars. Beauty and the Beast in the stars ! It is also a mixture of Romeo and Juliet, Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice.
I hope that Ben is not really dead, and that Rey will find him because they were created to be together. They are soul mates in the Force, for worse and now for better.
that last line of Rey when she said "he still might show up... one day..." felt like she was pertaining to the aftermath of Ben's death and it suddenly breaks my heart into pieces :'( but looking on the brighter side, I hope the theory of Ben being alive is real :'(

That would've been more shallow anyway, other than kind of difficult since Ben killed many and that wouldn't be justifiable. Rey choosing what to be regardless from her blood line is a way better message, other than Ben ultimately being the one sacrificing for her, given also that he had guilt feelings.
I get you say that because it's the end of the Skywalker saga, but it simply shows the final results and consequences of the Skywalker, with them disappearing too, so there won't be a reason to elaborate more on them.

His redemption and the ending should have been much better than him dying like that, since he is the most interesting thing in the entire movie.
Since the name is "The rise of Skywalker", yes, it makes more sense of him going through redemption turning to the light side taking his place as the real last Skywalker standing starting the jedi legacy again.
@@limortzur8885 Rey did, and the rise of Skywalker is the whole consequences of their doing as I said. Plus fusing two bloodlines that are strong in the force and that both fell into dark side.
Now you're just claiming it had to be a Skywalker for the title name without any depth, reason or meaning to it. Plus Luke died in a way more casual way. And Rey is the main protagonist (other than being literally only your opinion that Ben was the "most interesting thing in the entire movie").
Love that you edited in Ben to stand beside Rey and BB-8 at the end. He deserved to be there with her. Thank you for giving us what the movie didn't.

I was crying so hard even before he died, cause i knew it was coming. When they kissed i felt mixed emotions. Then when he died I started having a mental break down, my friend started telling me to breathe and to calm down. Then when we came out of the theatre she asked me why i was getting so worked up at a movie character’s death. Well, that movie character was special to me!

I hate how Ben died but they kinda had to kill one of them to end the saga. You can’t call him kylo ren anymore because he turned to the light so he is Ben now.
This is definitely the story of the two of them, The Force Awakens was really about Rey and her new purpose.
The Last Jedi was about Kylo’s Conflict with the light and the dark.
The Rise Of Skywalker was about Both Of Them.

2:43 - 2:58 Is Exactly how it should've ended along with all the skywalker force ghosts appearing Luke, Leia, and Anakin (at least) but ideally them three and all the Jedi who spoke to her with her battle with Palpatine. But since Ben "died" (as far as we know, for now at least) the skywalker force ghosts appearing should be all 4 of them Luke, Leia, Anakin & Ben. But then again Kathleen Kennedy screws everything up, there's no perfect anything but get someone who enjoys it and cherishes it to make the best sensible and logical story like Jon Favreau and or Dave Filoni I'm sure there are others just only ones who come to mind. Why are we attracted to these kinds of characters? Because they’re exceptionally human. Aren’t we all flawed? Don’t we all have our downfalls? If life worked like some believe movies should work, our downfalls would leave us stranded in the gutter, with no way to pull ourselves up.
Sure, Kylo Ren was awful to Rey at times. Sure, he killed his father, who just so happened to be Han Solo. No one is going to question that. But does that disqualify him from ever redeeming himself, as well as his relationship with Rey? Absolutely not.
What the sequel trilogy created was two characters at opposite ends of the spectrum that were much closer than they would have ever seemed at the start. They were both lost, alone, misguided, but through their shared interactions, they were able to find peace not just for themselves, but for the galaxy.

I just wish Disney didn't ruin Luke Skywalker's character arc by making him succumb to his fears about Ben. Bad decision, Disney. But Ben's redemption and the love story between him and Rey are going to be some of the most outstanding character arcs in our modern mythology that Star Wars is. Disney did that right.

My theory about where it goes is that Ben was transferred into a Jedi secured location when he disappeared and didn’t show up beside his mother and uncle at the end. And, the Kylo Ren’s statement that he saw her turn to the dark side. My guess is that Ben will come back and save Rey in the next trilogy from the dark. (My thoughts right now.)
