Thanks for all the information on how to make a 9 patch. Thank you for all of the information on a nine inch patch . I am a new quilter and I did not know there was so much to learn . Gonna start cutting fabric tomorrow. Again thanks for all the information .
Thank you so much for such great instructions! Even though I didn’t follow along on this Nona quilt along, I learned how to do this nine patch from you which helped me to put together the “Thoroughly Modern Nine Patch” offered by Sulky!
I’m just finishing up my nine patch blocks, and had to pause a minute to THANK YOU! They are turning out beautifully with no pins. Perfectly on point. And the chain/web sewing is saving so much time. I never thought I’d be capable of this level of success with my quilting. It brings so much joy into the whole process. Thank you for sharing your knowledge so patiently and clearly. Okay… back to quilting 😊
I am so happy to hear this! I am happy for you!
You are awesome and so easy to follow. Learning lots.
I am happy to hear that!
You do such a great job explaining your projects. Thank you so much. You make a good home schooling mom I bet.
Thank you!
Another great quilting lesson. Thanks so much! See you next week Jessica😊❤️
Thank you! See you then!
What a great series. I shall definitely give this a go very soon. So much great information for us newbies. Grateful 🙏🏻
Wonderful!
❤❤❤
Great video! I've been matching seems much more accurately when I use your no pin method! Thank you!
That's fantastic!
So helpful, thank you, x
I'm so glad! You are welcome!
O loved❤❤
Thanks!
This is great! Thank you! Love the quilts behind you. What is the fabric and pattern of the middle quilt?
Thank you! The middle quilt uses a pattern from my book- Precut Parade. The pattern is called Happy Go Lucky. It is a fat quarter/half yard quilt. Here I made it with Flea Market by Lori Holt. It would be darling in any of her collections!
I noticed that when you were piecing the colored squares to the white squares, you rotated the the non pinked edge of the colored fabric to the seam you were sewing. If I sewed the pinked edge to the white smooth edge does that make a difference?
It doesn't make a difference, just personal preference.
Great job on explaining what you're doing. Pinning and not pinning. Excellent tutorial
What stitch length do you use when piecing?
When I'm piecing blocks this size, I usually use a 2.
