Finding forgotten places of the past - metal detecting. Ep 307

There is a spot in the deep woods of Montana where I just knew somebody used to live. There was a clearing next to what seemed like a man made pond. Not far off was a horse trough. Somebody had to live here long ago right? I feel like I'm pretty good at locating old homesites, but I had made multiple trips here with no luck. The other day I searched for the lost homestead on last time. After a couple of hours more clues started to add up. Then there it was in all it's jungle infested glory. It was dug into the mountainside about and had been completely grown over. That wasn't going to stop me so I grabbed my Minelab Equinox 800 with the small coil and started metal detecting. Will we find those relics, coins, tokens and jewelry we are searching for?
