Željka Veverec and Toni Starešinić, a creative duo who established themselves as one of Croatia's best domestic pop groups, together with musicians Leo Beslać and Silvio Bočić performed two songs 'Trip to the Moon' from the album 'Put na Mjesec' and 'Dobar plan', which they released as a single earlier this year. Mangroove has released 4 albums so far: "Svijet za nas" (2009), "Put na mjesec" (2012), "Sami" (2015, Dancing Bear), "Srce" (2018, Aquarius Records).
They recently announced the release of their new album with Croatian radio television jazz orchestra with the single 'Vrijeme'. Željka and Toni with Mangroove managed to work with some of the best Croatian musicians who left their musical mark in their songs - Josip Lisac, Tedi Spalato, Igor Geržina, Dado Topić, Nikola Marjanović, Mirela Priselac Remi, Pocket Palma, Mak Murtić, Miron Hauser, Luka Žužić, Mario Bočić, Janko Novoselić and many others. The albums 'Put na mjesec', 'Srce' and 'Sami' were nominated for Croatian discography award Porin as best club music albums.
Željka and Toni wrote the first songs with Mangroove as well as played their first concerts and Mangroove took them on a musical journey filled with soul, jazz, funk, pop and electronic music, a journey that continues today. Who knows where it will take them?
