This bell (also known as "Pummerin II") is the largest bell in Austria, and replaced the Old Pummerin (Alte Pummerin).

An haunting, but beautiful sound.

Its quite a story...the original bell was knocked off its mounts during an air raid and fell straight to the floor of the cathedral, where it smashed to pieces. The new bell was actually recast from the pieces of the old.
