- As usual, the sound is funky because they play loud copyrighted music all weekend.
We've been doing this for a lot of years, but it never ceases to amaze us the quality and ingenuity of the cars we see every year. This show is amazing, a huge amount of participants and spectators, and you add the fact the weather was near perfect, well a little cool for some, LOL. I also would like to say that we really appreciate and enjoy meeting the people who watch and enjoy our videos, and want to thank every one of them for watching. Thank You Bill,, I started attending the Turkey Rod Run in the 1970's, when it was mostly at La Playa, by the beach. And attended up until about 15 years ago. Now its just too much walking for me. Your videos fill a spot in my heart, and make me feel young again. Daytona is about 3 hours north of me, I live in Boca Raton. Thank you for the quality and steady camera of your work.

@@37spiker I live within 20 minutes of the Nationals in New York. For health reasons I have not been able to attend in about 4 years. My job was to babysit and clean a 1959 El Camino that is orange and color with a cream colored top. Thanks again.

Thank you Bill for the time and effort that you put in to attend these car shows. I enjoy your commentary. Being a "car guy" since I was 5 years old, I love them all. I see a lot of old guys probably about my age (74) in your videos. I live in the frozen north, so we just don't have the weather to show cars except in the short summer, so your videos are a real uplifting experience for me. I am envious of your trips to these shows. Thank you for taking us with you. I had some nice cars in my younger days, but then a business, marriage, a house and kids came along which shifted my priorities. Now my toy is a 2006 Toyota Solara convertible (17k miles) that does not see the snow. I have been to a few car shows on the west coast and a Mecum auction, but nothing like this Daytona show. It is neat that you bring Spike and often show him. We have had two Yorkies, now we have a miniature black poodle.
I really like the red, white and blue carbs on that 66 GTO. Great idea, nicely patriotic and Absolutely Cool! The engine bay on that 62 bubble top Chevrolet is one of the cleanest that I have seen and a beautiful color on the car. I will never forget the first time I saw a bubble top 62 Bel Air with a 409. I was aw struck. I always thought that those 62 Buick Skylarks were so cute. It is a great body style. This one is very nice, thanks for giving us a good long shot on it. Another great flame job on that maroon 49 Ford with the Frenched headlights. The rear view mirrors on the purple 40 something Chevrolet with the blown Olds engine are a nice modern touch to an beautiful old car. The maroon 51 dodge is why i clicked on this video! Amazing. I agree with your statement about it being your favorite car at the show.
Is the wheel base altered on that black/red trimmed 69(?) Camaro with the red valve covers? It looks a little shorter. Maybe just because of huge rear meats.

Thanks Bill. I don't no if you have herd the news but we have had a couple of confirmed cases of the new south African mutation of covid. They have told us to wear masks on public transport and at shops. Other than that that storm has past and today its a sunny start but cold. Take care stay safe. Tim

England Bill. In the midlands we have 3 confirmed cases but one has left the country. So there's 1 in Nottingham about an hours drive away and 1 in Essex about two and half hour drive away. Like I say, stay safe and well. All the best, Tim.

Great video! Saved me a trip going there. I am kind of surprised at all of the empty parking spaces on the pavement. It used to be very hard to park there.
