i mean, just pick a profession u like and go pro in it, mines hunting and leatherworking and i easily make 400 everytime i haul into town from a trip. js mining and smithing, woodcutting and woodworking, bounty hunting or even becomming a provisioner(farming+fishing+cooking). pick any one of these profession sets and stick to it, make sure to create a daily quota for yourself and the pound will naturally flow into your bank account. also the SLC and NFC are basically hiring everyone they come across so thats a good way to earn ur pounds.

If you make a gun with ducat items yes someone can loot the gun but if dont make a item with them noone can loot it and even you cant trade them
