All US veterans who have received the Purple Heart, that I’ve met, are some of the strongest, bravest, and proudest people I’ve ever met. They’re not happy their hurt, but they’d all do it again, and are extreme humble to be alive. Most memorable one to me was my late neighbor Joe. He was shot in Chosin. Always told stories of how “that damned hill in Korea” was hell. Then he’d end with, I’d do it all over again, it was worth it. I think we did good, there.

Being honest, I don't think any of the new animations/renders are doing justice to the tone and meaning of the songs. Kind of just looks like the song is being played over something from a low-quality videogame and that just takes the edge off it. My favourites were always the ones with historical context or storyboard styles, the style throughout the Art of War was neat, so was Red Baron.

He then told me about how he was awarded this medal because he was wounded due to an enemy ambush in 2003 (the beginning of the Iraq War). Stepping away from his uniform, he pulled out a memory box from his closet and took out the actual Purple Heart Medal he had pinned on him. Looking at it, I remember I had seen the Purple Heart many times before, though I did not know it.
