Great to see a man showing his sensitive side. Society needs to encourage this. “On ya , mate”. 👍☺️

Agreed. Phezz, I think more of a man if he can show his feelings. It's why I fell for the father of my daughter. ❤

A pull buoy or leg float is a figure-eight shaped piece of closed-cell foam used in swim workouts. Swimmers place the buoy between their thighs or their ankles to provide support to the body without kicking their legs; this allows the swimmer to focus on training only their arms and developing both endurance and upper body strength. Peace out.

The same thing exists in Sydney at Bondi. The Icebergs Club is named after them. ☺️

I knew an old bloke 'Ken'. 6foot 6, 80 years old. He would paddle his surf ski twice a day and ocean swim tice a day(every day).. we had shark sightings all week. He was still going out and I said "they saw another shark this morning mate." He replied "yep, that's where they live!" Hard old bastard 🤘🤣

Thanks so much Phezz!! At least it wasn't only me who teared up at the end! 😅 I used to always walk along that pier and see the swimmers and admire them and want to join them. Last summer I decided to start swimming there myself, and it go so addictive until it got so cold... 😅 I know I'm a slow swimmer but sometimes these old men would overtake me so fast! 😂

G'day Mate! Just an awesome video!! And some amazing people! Try to check out the Bondi Icebergs, the originals since 1929. Membership takes a while...you need to swim there at least 3 out of every 4 Sundays for 5 years to qualify for membership! Cheers!

5:19 Years ago I was fishing on the beach and it was cold I was rugged up. There was a ship in with Russian tourists. They ran down the beach and into the water like it was a Summer day. They are tougher than me. It is what your used to I guess.

16:20 Fishing helps as well when you have no set commitments. You always look at the tide times and work out when to catch bait and when to fish. Go or don't go no one cares. Routine beats mental health problems. Gardening is the same. You look to the season and what you can plant then tend to the plants. Then look to the next season. Give the excess away. Everyone loves free stuff and you get a chat.

13:02 Eggs, eating eggs is the most natural way to get pure protein and then muscles have to be torn to regrow. You need pain to gain. Look after your chickens and they look after you. You don't want to have to eat what they eat.

12:21 He is one strong fella. We all had our time, mine was in the mid 90's cut and ripped, run anywhere and climb anything but the injuries add up. Still not bad but I would hope to be as strong as that old fella at his age.

That was great.......or are they shark bait? 😎 "Are there sharks in Port Phillip Bay?
Why shark sightings in Port Phillip Bay are unusual.........
“There's definitely sharks in the bay but it tends to be smaller, colder water species that tend to stick to the bottom,” Mr Chlebeck said. Melbourne fisherman Vlad Ilich says he's caught ten sharks this year. “There's plenty of sharks in the bay, it's just that people don't see them,” he told Neil Mitchell.20 Feb 2023.
