- You know it’s going to be a good Cash Days when you’re in Dallas! This round was small-tire cars only, BUT we had big-tire cars like The Crow and Murder Nova show up to give the small-tire game a shot! With nothing but virgin roads, and a heavy police presence - you could say this year was a little frustrating for the racers. It might have taken 2 nights, but we were able to come out with 1 winner, who walked away with $4,000 CASH!

1320 crew should run the street outlaws shows. They know how to record a race without 50 different camera angle changes.
I would assume they do it for "TV" to actually make it a show with "DRAMA AND SUSPENSE" but i agree this is how it should be done
They do that for two reasons. 1= to hide how fast they really are! 2= to drag it out into a hour long show.

Honestly, he might be spinning worse. With a typical 700 hp civic, M/H radials can hook on the street if you roll into it in 2nd. Of course murder nova has triple the torque(or more) so it's not really fair

Love your videos, as a matter of fact, 1320 reignited my love for racing. I have 1 issue with 'drag' racing now and before I go any further I understand I am older, hence I may not 'get' this generation of drivers/cars. Back in the day, especially if it was local (not so legal) racing, we did a few things to try and gain an edge, but nothing crazy. Changing out a 2 barrel carburetor and replacing with a 4, camshaft and a few other things, but nothing to loose the house over. Also, it didn't help I guess growing up in poverty in the armpit of America haha. Anyway, to see the over the top powerhouses we had to go to our semi-local drag strip. Now people are showing up on the street with machines they have poured thousands of dollars in, wheelie bars, parachutes, not driving in, but pulling their car there on/in a trailer. Don't get me wrong, I love those cars, I love to watch them run, the way they sound and so on. But it use to be, your drove out, met up with some people/friends and settled some brand wars IE: Chevy vs Ford vs Dodge and so on and when the night was done, you drove home and then used that very same car to get to work, go to the store, pick up the kids etc.
Look, I am not complaining I guess as much as I am pining for the old days, but it does seem to me that what would have once been the allure of proving my 69 SS Camaro is faster than your Cuda in a quarter mile is all but gone. Sometimes it seems the body of the car is only a shell and underneath is something far more sinister.
You guy's should hire a stunt man to go crash a car and have every cop go to the scene cops love a good crash , every time someone crashes near me they all go at 120mph. Think we have about 25 cops and they go blasting by my house . They be busy for hours.
P Kuudsk as long as theres no way to harm anyone else or someones business that's not a bad idea but most likely there will still be pleanty of bored ass cops to come bust them even with 10 at the crash hahah

I was in Jail with a guy who would set bombs off in dumpsters behind shopping malls then drive past the cops responding going the other direction and rob banks. He actually got away with it 4 times and after the 5th they got him getting off a plane coming back from the Bahamas after he spent $220k in 14 months. I figured he was a addict but dude said he did it for the rush and cash. He had left the country every time and stayed gone till he was almost broke then fly back and rob another bank. He said the rush of running into a bank with a loaded weapon was better th n any drug. This was 20 years ago I bet his ass is still in prison some where.

We used to race where Miller Brewery is on I-35 south back behind where all the loading dock doors and parking area are,of course that was in the mid 80's when there wasn't much there and a lot less COPS !! Also when the cops came everybody hauled ass to the access road off Garden Acres access road. then cops show back to Miller Brewery.

Not surprising Summitt had no wheels. After getting a few failed parts (factory defects) over the course of a year, we stopped using them and went to Butler. I need dependable parts and Summitt did not deliver. Butler has came through for me.
