The only time I trust auto save is when the game errors out and crashes, I’m trusting auto save with every cell of my body
When the only save you have is that one auto-save where you died and now you have to replay the game or cheat because you are in a constant loop of pain and suffering

The term is a mix of the names of the video game series Metroid and Castlevania, with games in the genre borrowing from both series.
