Finally, my first MG kit from bandai. When assembling this kit, it felt so fragile because some of the parts didn't seem to stick in place. But after it was finished, it turned out that it was indeed a gimmick. His armor moved as his body parts moved. Things that I didn't get when building HG. You would feel flappy on some parts (especially on the skirt), but thats maybe some downpart for a good articulation.
Actually there are many versions for the Gundam RX 78 on the market, but I chose the MG 3.0 because I like kits with small details. And it turns out that MG 3.0 was beyond my imagination. I am completely satisfied with the design, details and articulation. Highly recommended!

Finished building this thing today. What a kit. Gorgeous but awful to handle and not all that fun to build. Lots of really weird choices with the color separation specifically with the clear pieces on the core fighter and in the thrusters and the lighter blue on the core block as opposed to the regular blue seen on the actual core fighter. The copper stickers were pretty bad too. Actual kit aside, great video and stellar editing. Hope you had a significantly better experience with this kit than I did.

For some reason the joints kept coming off and it was really hard to pose especially the legs and fingers
yes bro, maybe because this kit is older kit and need more love. there are bunch of tutorial to tighten the loosen part on youtube. gonna try it later
