I absolutely love the keepers. They aren't like most men, load and full of themselves but have a quality about them that is really superior than most people. Lucky elephants.
It just touches my heart how these men really sacrifice they're time to care for these animals. They must love these animals and know. They are important to have in their country

And they've just had a wonderful event as the reason they do this is not to make Elephant pets but to re-establish the population. It's happened by 1 of the orphans whose grown independent, Seraa to have her own little male calf, Solar. She actually brought him to introduce to the Keepers. The groups work together, TEP, DSWT and others. Hope that helps!

Tried to contact them on info@sheldrickwildlifetrust.org, but the domain does not exist anymore. In 2017 there were ony two ellies saved! Makta'o and Kiasa. It does not exist any keeper's diary for Januar. Whom did I donate the money??? What we see here happened in December!!!!
It is very much still active. Please retry contacting them before you write such doubtful messages. That email you list and www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org work fine. I have been donating regularly and they send me monthly updates. Their website is very much active. How dare you suggest that they only saved two elephants in 2017. They save many who do not make it to the point of getting transferred. Get your facts straight before you malign a serious and incredible organization. They need all the support we can give them. You have been reckless and the elephants ultimately pay for anyone you have discouraged from donating.

You have to remembet during the conflict there were more calves. Also w the new Utube rules, probably easier to update in the Keepers Journal.
