    Dried fish (nethili karuvadu) - 50 gm
    Sesame oil - 4 tbsp
    Mustard seeds & urad dal - 1/2 tsp
    Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Fenugreek - 1/2 tsp
    Curry leaves
    Garlic - 10
    Shallots - 1&1/2 cup
    Tomatoes - 2
    Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
    Kashmiri chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
    Coriander powder - 4 tsp
    Tamarind paste - 3/4 cup
    Some coriander leaves
    Vegetables like drumstick, brinjal, or pumpkin (optional)
