The problem with Zack Snyder films is that he _doesn't_ go anywhere with the characters. They are pretty much the same characters they were at the end as they were at the beginning, they just believe in themselves a little more. Snyder's entire style is a "cool moment" to "cool moment" string, with desultory cookie-cutter filler in between; frequently in the form of terrible dialogue. What success he's had has depended entirely on someone else's fiction. 300, Watchmen, even DC. When he was free to make his own, we got Rebel Moon.
Rebel Moon is the perfect example of Snyder's work, without being propped up by the work of better creators.

Well said. Even if they're bad though, they are still fun to watch (sometimes).

@@HaywoodStudiosOfficial I loved and still love 300 and Watchmen, and I'm even fond of his cut of Justice League (mainly because it makes Cyborg the key character instead of damn near cutting him out completely like Whedon did).
But Rebel Moon? He ripped off better films to make it. And when I say "rip off", I mean copy-paste without comprehension or insight into what is being copied.
Take the scene with the gas giant. It's obviously lifted from A New Hope with Luke and the twin suns. But it lacks understanding _why_ it worked in Star Wars.
It wasn't the view, it was what led Luke to be gazing longingly but resignedly at it. Without the conversations with C3PO and R2-D2, and later his conversation with his aunt and uncle, as well as his frustrated kick of the ground, that scene would be meaningless. Just like it is in Rebel Moon.
Snyder _needs_ a 'No-man' to keep his impulses in check.

Because it was directed by Zack Snyder and Zack is a terrible director. Whenever Zack is directing or even if his name is just attached to said movie, that movie is guaranteed to be a miserable failure. In fact, his movies are so bad that his adopted daughter couldn't take them anymore and... well... you know.
I don't know the story behind this movie, whether it had a lot of studio interference, but Zack is one of those fellows, the studios really need to rein in.

You can dislike Zack Snyder all you want, that's your decision to make, but to say that the quality of his movies are what caused his daughter to pass away is beyond disgusting. What I shared in my video in regards to what happened behind the scenes of Justice League is only stuff that I have learned through UA-cam videos and Google. I strongly encourage you to do your own research on the development of 2017's Justice League movie, and then try to figure out what actually happened.

I don't care about your views on mary sue.is a immature thing to say.l

How? I was explaining what I perceive a Mary Sue type of character looks like, and why I thought Kora was not a Mary Sue. Calling a female character who is overpowered a Mary Sue isn’t immature, it’s an observation. Trust me, people would get upset over men who are overpowered and win all the time, but don’t face any true challenges that would make them a character.
