Yeah I know it brother. They're a niche brand and fit the metal/rock aesthetic in every way, while also having a handful of other models that can appeal to other musicians not affiliated with those genres. Having said that, I want my guitar to look like a guitar and not a goddamn Xmas ornament. Like wtf!!!
You dear Kevin is the one that hooked me into these type of guitars, and these Beast, warlocks is reminiding me of who got me into them, Big respect and thanks to you Kevin 🤩🤘🎸
Kevin, You seriously needs a BC Rich representative to come take a look at you and sign you for an endorsement contract because you’re an absolutely perfect candidate to be one of their signature endorsed artists, I think someone from BC Rich should contact you, you have so many BC Rich guitars in your collection at somebody needs to do something about that. You’re a killer heavy metal musician and you deserve the best in the world! Just sending love from Rochester Hills, Michigan brother! You kick ass! I love your intensity, and your enthusiasm with each video you do! Rock on brother!! 🤘🎸😎 I love Marty from MotorCity Guitar. He’s an amazing human being!
"How does the guitar sound?" "So much hatred comes out of that pickup" Best description ever. Also, if you find a Bernie Rico Jr guitar. I highly recommend, I have three Vixens and will never sell them.
While personally I love the abalone and everything that modern BC Rich is doing, there's just something so simple and elegant about the old school stuff that makes them just as awesome to look at
love the collection , reminds me of mine , i have all of the popular shapes they built , from birds to warlocks and V's , and a bastard V , love all of them
Lol you with Jackson was how my friend was with B.C. Rich. I remember we went to Guitar Center and he was shreading on one of the more expensive B.C. Rich guitars than this older dude, probably in his 50s at the time came in with a Jazz Master and just unleashed the most gnarliest and brutal rifts we ever heard, the guy taught my buddy some stuff and techniques which my friend uses to this day. I need to get back into playing guitar again. Been about 12 years since I last held a guitar.
AWESOME COLLECTION! I have several BC Rich guitars in my collection I also have a Moser Bastard in black and silver, a Monson Wizard #2 the second Wizard he made and the first one he sold. I managed to find that for sale for under $150.00 thru a local guitar chain. I sold off my first collection and cot back into it when my son wanted to learn guitar and he had his heart set on a Warlock so I grabbed him one of the stater packs Guitar and amp with some accessories. While there I saw a BC Rich Beast on the wall and bought it just after Christmas. I have had BC Rich guitars in my first collection and IMO they were great guitars but not well liked because of the shapes. I have always like the non traditional shaped guitars. When I was in Miami I bought a new Kramer Enterprise in metallic blue that was stolen. When I saw the beast it kind of reminded me of the Kramer that was stolen. Now I have around 190 guitars from many companies a really eclectic collection not like my first that was 80% Gibson.
I have a BC Rich Virgo and love it for its wicked shape. The headstock, however, is a little big for my taste. So big and pointy you could use it to bail hay.
Cool video i myself have 2 warlocks , i was never a great guitarist but now i could barely play i dont have full use of my right hand due to a stroke ! I always liked the wicked shapes BC. RICH, when they closed downt thyre shop in El Monte California some of my buddies went dumpster diving and got dozens of parts, bodies, necks, pick ups, and so on! My ex brother in law ended up with a dumpster BC RICH BICH , he still has it to this day 20 something years that thing sounds like it just came from the shop. Bad ass collection brutha !
I have the KKW Wartribe that was issued at the same time as the KKV. I ended up removing that boost switch and made it into a volume knob for the bridge pickup
Hi Kevin hope your well. Managed to grab the BC rich kkv tribal neck threw last week and your right this thing is a beast got a decent deal on it too 💪
First guitar my dad ever bought me was a BC Rich Mockingbird all black with the Evil edge metal pick guard and it was my everything and the reason I got so into guitar. I was stupid and young and sold it but I’ve decided my next guitar to add to my collection will be buying one of those again same color and model
Don't know the store as I'm in the UK, Not even a guitarist lol, I'm a drummer. But great story dude! As usual being a drummer of the 90s, I was in about 10 bands hahaha and although I'm a drummer, I can still admire a gorgeous looking beast! Thanks for sharing brother!
Get a hold of Dean at he owns Zim guitars in Mesa Arizona BC, rich headquarters man he restores them. It’s got a dude paint them up get a hold of them.
Man that Chaos Inception shirt brings me back. I know Garth from back in the day. They are an amazing band. Love all your Bc Rich guitars and you are a great player.
Dude 1K for a 7 string USA Warlock is NASTY GOOD. Jesus that's the sort of shit that's hard to believe on forums unless there's photos and a video. Incredible deal and first experience with the brand.
Say what you will about the body-shape of a Warlock, but you have to admit... Those old-school Widow headstocks looked pretty badass. I tend to prefer it over the Beast/Warbeast design.
I got lucky as a kid my grandpa was doing particularly well financially at the time & got me a red acrylic warlock for Christmas back when I was 11…I’m 33 now & it’s been all about B.C Rich since. I’ve bought a couple LTD guitars over the years but B.C Rich remains my favourite.
@@jesseparrish9198 Yeah it’s a tank of a guitar. I’m not sure on the exact weight but a few years ago I had to get a wire repaired & my warlock was heavier than the heaviest bass they had in the shop.
Awesome collection brother I always liked bc I have an esp ltd but I also love the old skool death and thrash sound think I'm gonna go for it and grab one🤘🤘🤘🤘
I had the tribal Kerry King V 🎸 unfortunately without the whammy but it was still kicking and I also had the Virgin both were fun ......... and a Warlock I forgot I’m getting old 😂
I still think one of the coolest BC Rich is Matt Tucks V with the traditional 3+3 headstock. Oh yeah the good old days of cheap Japanese Jackson’s in the 90s . I will own a 94-95 Kelly XLR one day before I die. The 90s Jackson’s and Ibanez from Japan are still some of the best bang for your buck you can get.
I had the opportunity to buy that Kerry King model but with the red graphics but it was $1700 Australian. Kick my self every second day for not getting it. Cool collection man! And cool channel. Keep it metal man!!!!!
Yeah man I've wanted to acquire that one ever since I got this one and they just rarely poke their heads out in the used market anymore, and if they do...way too much money to jump at. It'll show up again in the future.
Nice collection! Although I had to laugh when you said that when you pick up the 1st guitar you can't put it down - just after picking it up and putting it down!
I don't know what it is but I gotta have the Floyd rose or Kahler on my guitar but I never use it and just lock it down. Something about the look and feel of it is part of my motivation to play. Am I wrong in assuming you're they same way? All your guitars seem to have locked down 2 way tremelos. Oh yeah. And those Japanese made Jacksons were godlike back in the day. I finally got around to buying a Jackson a couple years ago (a recent model 7 string). Oh how the old gods have fallen. Nazgul/sentient pickups i installed couldn't save that thing.
You get down on the thrash and old school death metal man. Always loved the b.c. rich sound and look, but all the points would have my OCD on high alert.......I wouldn't be able to touch it
Anyone else here not listen to metal or death metal, have a collection of clean tone guitars without spikes or horns, yet just like this guy and tune into his videos lmao
I think he was saying he's not a tech death player that doesn't not use a pick lol, saying he's a riffer primarily of thrash and regular old school death metal
You're the reason I got into bc rich. I got a beast nj neck through quilted maple red, and modern artic camo bastard v , I have a jr v in the mail too ..awesome content
Just got myself a Beast Bass in Red. Hell of a "beast" in D Standart. Jist what i need to crush the lowend! Then i got a Warlock Body for legit 10€ on ebay and got a nice Neck, Sounds just as amazing as i want it to in Eb Standart🤘
My basic warlock is the guitar I pick up by far the most . It’s just the feel ,comfort and playability for me . I’ve got much more expensive guitars in my collection but for some reason the warlock is the one . When the guitar world calms down would like to look out for a higher end version, like you and a few others here have said that era guitars are great instruments. Great vid Kev 🤘
I have probably the same neck through beast bass as you. I got it cheap as it was a B stock for having some finish flaws.(I think the damn case cost more than the guitar) Lives up too it's name. I had to rewire it 3 times as the active electronics were flubbing out n burning 9vs in days. Cool collection. I personally am more of a fan of the "harpoon" headstock. Just scored a platinum class axe warlock and I love it. (It's in pieces as I upgrade and get ready for a new finish). Yeah it's ply wood and bolt on but I honestly don't care. Bolt on in far superior in every way other than the handshake. Atleast if you like to upkeep frets and adjust action or install trems on guitars that don't got em. What year is your beast bass? Mines 2008 MIC.
perhaps you can answer this question Kevin - What does the "R" logo designate? Some people say its an American model, but I have seen some import guitars use them as well. Im curious as I don't know what the various eras of the company used for a Logo. Any ideas?
I really wish B.C rich would make some of their older guitars today. I like the newer ones, but they're too ''flashy'' for me.
I really liked irondird with kahler was released, but yeah, totally agree with you
Yeah I know it brother. They're a niche brand and fit the metal/rock aesthetic in every way, while also having a handful of other models that can appeal to other musicians not affiliated with those genres. Try a Mockingbird. They are awesome! Looks and sounds great. They have a pretty mellow look.
That's right. Especially for the Warlock models that I love so much.
Have it wrapped
" so much hatred comes out of that pickup" is one of my new favourite quotes
Black winters in my razorback summons true hatered!☠️😾👹
Your enthusiasm about the brand is undeniable. Nice collection.
Love B.C. Rich, although never owned one yet. One of my dream guitars is the USA Erik Rutan Ironbird 7-String. Such a sick looking instrument.

Floyd overload. I have a Razorback and a stealth with Floyd’s and that’s enough. That’s awesome Kevin. You make me happy to see your passion as well.
