I’m the one that requested Matt Stairs @12:15 . He’s one of my all time favorite players. I love clutch pinch hitters like what Matt was, I also loved playing as him in MLB The Show 11
@@kbformvp8459 I just wanna see the comments on it, I know if he misses literally one people will flame him. There’s like 300 answers tho because it’s 5 stats every year, so he definitely won’t get them all
Got the same score as Marc, was thinking it was Jeff Mathis instead of Jesse Chavez, but very proud I got both Mike Cameron and Matt Stairs, those were some real toughies alright. Good quiz, definitely keep doing these vids. Kelly Johnson and Martin Maldonado I will always remember for being traded to the same team two years in a row (and in Johnson's case, from the same original team both times); makes you think the teams that traded for them (Mets and Astros) should have just signed them to multi-year deals in the first place haha, saved themselves the hassle.
Fun fact, not only did Matt Stairs play for the Phillies in 2008 not Erik Hinske, it was Hinske that struck out for the Rays for the final out of the 2008 World Series securing the win for Stairs's Phillies.
Makes you wonder, what if they'd resigned Tex instead of letting him walk? Would have had a pretty powerful bat in that lineup during their contending years, but at the same time, they might not have ended up with Trout, so they'd have been worse down the line. Letting him go works out in their favor I think value-wise in the long term, but with Tex on the Angels instead of the Yanks in the ALCS in 09, the Angels might just have had gotten a WS title that year, hard to say.
@@ryangale3757 I think they still would have ended up with Trout. They had the pick right before Trout as well, but used it to sign Peter Bourjois instead so that they wouldn’t need to offer Trout as much money. Without that second pick to use, they probably just sign Trout. They were higher on him.
@@kalluey It was Randal Grichuk (who then got traded for Bourjos later on), but yeah, that's possibly. Who knows though, maybe they change their mind with just the one pick? Can never know with those butterfly effects.
Honestly Prince deserves HoF love. He was a top 3 first baseman almost his entire career, is one of the few players to hit 50 bombs in a season recently, and he played all 162 games like 3 separate times! Players with career ending injuries like him should be treated differently, cause without the neck problems he was a lock for HoF at the pace he was going.
I feel like the player in your thumbnail is Mike Cameron just by the Reds 1999 part. I know my Reds history pretty well. (I posted this before watching the video)
Personally I think if Prince hadn’t gotten hurt he’d probably be in the hall of fame that neck injury after he got to Texas unfortunately ended his career
What makes this guy giraffe neck? I've looked at his neck and to me, I mean, I guess it's maybe a little bit long, but certainly in bounds, and not that of a giraffe. I'm confused.
I got every player. Except the Eric Gagne typo and, of course, Matt stairs and Kelly Johnson Fun fact: my best friend had cancer and got to meet Mitch Moreland that’s the only way I knew him Another fun fact: Eric Thames is actually overseas playing baseball he hasn’t officially retired
i knew it was Kelly Johnson because i have an Aaron Hill baseball card and a Kelly Johnson card and I looked at the teams on the back and it had the the teams swapped and I knew they traded. So because of that i got that right.
Just a friendly warning: 50 cents a day isn't as cheap as it sounds. It comes our to $182.50 a year. Sorry to be that guy but I did the math and just felt like I had to speak up. I'm not saying you shouldn't get the product, I'm just trying to make sure you know what you're getting into

Never

@@andrewriak4940 It sounds like a cool quiz, but Marc's subscribers aren't just Mets fans and he probably figures the video won't do well.
@@kyleking8656 I don’t need him to do it for a video, I just want him to do it and tell me how it went lol
Legend
Matt stairs was the head coach of my rival highschool hockey team back here in his hometown
Marc will you be able to do a trade deadline players and how they did with their new team. I would love for you to put it in consideration
Yes can definitely do this
Thanks Marc!!! Have loved your channel since MLB the show days!!
Definitely loving the guess the team videos Marc. Would love to see more, man. Keep up the awesome work. Can’t wait for the season to start.
BLESS ur soul for the quick update and true dat for those not deserving full videos

Stephen Vogt never even hit a home run for the Rays
Part two finally been waiting for this forever
This was a fun one, definitely wanna see more Mets quizzes those are fun
Mike Cameron went from Cincinnati to Seattle 8n the Ken Griffey Jr trade after the 99 season
Matt Stairs is like the only guy who has Pinch Hitter as one of his positions on baseball reference and was actually a good player
I felt great, especially getting guys like Maldonaldo and Jesse Chavez... then Matt Stairs and Kelly Johnson stumped me. Fun video.
you should make a video about players that disappeared/vanished
5:47 that's Blake Bortles, I'm certain of it
I would love to see one of these with All-Stars from the 70s.
Video idea: Talk about players who won an MVP award in a certain year, but didn’t make the AL/NL all-star teams that year
Fun fact, not only did Matt Stairs play for the Phillies in 2008 not Erik Hinske, it was Hinske that struck out for the Rays for the final out of the 2008 World Series securing the win for Stairs's Phillies.
You gotta stop paying so much attention to the Mets and start paying some attention to the Matts. You keep getting them wrong
The only reason why iknew that matt stairs one was the phils from 08-09 lol
We definitely need a part 3.
Donaldson was drafted by the cubs and traded while in the minors
That half season Teixeira had with the Angels was insane
Especially since we got Trout when he left for the Yankees.
Makes you wonder, what if they'd resigned Tex instead of letting him walk? 2:17 dude is holding a base. Everyone should know who it is by that
I love when you do these videos. You should keep doing them!
For the Mike Cameron one…
Marc: So that’s ten teams.
Me: Where is your math😂🤣
Great job! I did get Matt Stairs lol but u got alot more than me haha
Great video fun guessing them with my dad, we are the biggest Mets fans and #LFGM
Have you seen Gagne lately?? He pops up on Eric Sim youtube channel and looked pretty dang slim and trim, throwing the ball really well!
Marc doesn’t remember the legend that is Matt Stairs

Yes! GLad you did another one
Fielder would have been a hof if he would have kept up the home run pace for 6 or 7 years more
I genuinely didn't know Stephen vogt until Marc said the word catcher
I accidently broke Mark Texiera's cousin's arm playing football, and he still got me Mark's autograph lol
marc: “eric gagne didn’t pitch in 2018”

The braves one might be Jorge soler
Manz said Eric hinske- the last out of the 08 WS
i actually got 2 correct. Jon Lester and Josh Donaldson
Mark teixeira gives me ptsd from when Lewis Castillo dropped the pop up
Personally I think if Prince hadn’t gotten hurt he’d probably be in the hall of fame that neck injury after he got to Texas unfortunately ended his career
Gm tier list
Jesse Chavez is the second most traded player ever, that was kind of a giveaway lol
Was I the only one wanting to see him to get him wrong cause he gets to many correct. Luckily stairs came in clutch
What I’m gathering is that every player has played in the AL West
Is any shocked that the rays are spending money 💴
If you didn’t cheat then hats off to ya. 👍🏻
And if Thames could always try doubling his regular steroid cycles for a comeback attempt.
How do you get Stephen Vogt and not Matt Stairs?
FIRST LOVE UR CHANNEL METS FAN FOR LIFE!
donaldson was with the cubs but i dont think he played a game with them

Mike Cameron is the main piece that the Reds traded for Ken Griffey Jr.
Marc what do you think about The Mets and Stroman situation, PLUS , the 3 new signings ?

How is Texeira on the HOF ballot? He can't be on it, he needs five full seasons to have gone by before he becomes eligible
braves got jesse chaves from the reds so thats wrong???
Part 3
Marc, Mike Cameron was traded to the Mariners for Griffey
i knew it was Kelly Johnson because i have an Aaron Hill baseball card and a Kelly Johnson card and I looked at the teams on the back and it had the the teams swapped and I knew they traded. So because of that i got that right.
Pls do a best player at every number updated
2nd one was stephen vogt

Hi Marc I’m early I’ve been a fan since mlb the show
Did you just say EZ Clap? U out here on twitch?
Am I the only one who thought Prince played in Detroit longer than 2 years?
Man people keep using the old Milwaukee Brewers logo when their new one is the best in the biz.
I use the logo they had in during the year. Like on Steven Vogt, he was on the brewers in 2017, so i use the logo the brewers used in 2017
Eric Gagne pitching in 2018 at the age of 42 isn’t too far fetched? I get he hasn’t played since 2008 but still
My friends dad friends with Steven Vogt
let’s goooo
Your Thumbnail looks like Mike Cameron
