Some great finds! Employee #25 apparently couldnt keep track of his stuff, losing his Miner's tag twice! Must have played his sorrows away on his organ or squeeze box before he finally lost the reeds too! HAHA, great finds Jerry!
Depending on what I’m finding that day determines if I’m gonna tough out the rain or not. Watching you guys scratches the itch a little bit when I can’t get out and relic hunt. I get back home in the next three days after being at school for two months and of course it’s gonna rain 😢.
Sure, we will make sure going forward we will discuss a them a little more. We find some things so often that we forget about new viewers. A miners tag is a copper or brass stamped tag with a number in it. It usually was the miners number. They would have a bunch of them and when they sent the coal out of the mine they would tag it with their number so they know how much coal the miner was digging. The other things the tags could have been used for was swapping out tools. The last thing that these round metal tags could have been used for was cow tags attached to the ear of the cow. These were often a little larger and sometimes were different shapes. Miners tags are a common find in our area due to the large amount of coal in our area. Even the earliest settlers knew this and that’s why many Blast Furnaces were built in the mid 1800s so they could smelt pig iron and sent it down to Pittsburgh.

Do you think the bottle was a medicine bottle they would have stuck needle in to withdraw the medicine? Not sure if they had those back then. Great finds. Love the content.
Little George If they come looking, you were a neat boy.n Those miner gas, are the head miner type, and he must play harps; an,d those look current, he might come looking for them. Think you could put them back along with the stealth jet plane key? Seriously concerned both harp and 25 gas, is weapon, which is like pocket fodder or stuff you carry in war, for it's something to care. People hide things you know. Oh well I forget where that is anyway. How? I did a lot of things, including saving a lot of lives, those things in place may save you from Wally De Miner. Any evidence of his remains? Because he's a Ghost. He walks with a smile and he was stubborn about his pistol on his hip; the last time I seen him he switched it to a blade and a net and...... a corridor. Oh no, there he is, watch out ruuuuuuun. Booooo.........Boooooooooo.😊 😂

When we don’t find anything at sites, we always say…”well at least we got some exercise!” lol
Nice finds. Great research. Location, location, location!😊
Yep! Location is key!
its either a organ reed(key) or accordion reed .
I’m leaning toward accordion reed just because it was found a good 100 yards away from the first few I found.
Thanks for the video Jerry, great finds, stay safe lots of love from West Virginia ❤️🙂
