I found one of these machines 5 years ago. Spent a few hundred dollars to have it refurbished, and it has been a real workhorse ever since. Love this machine!
It is still going strong! I recently have recorded some modern music and I push play almost every day. We play pool every weekend here in the basement and I invariably push play and no one can tell the difference in the sound. Thanks for watching!
What optimal maintenance does the Teac A6600 have for proper maintenance of the player? Oh, you have to grease and lubricate some part of the module, thank you, regards, Hello Whetecoulditgo , I have a question about how to clean the heads of a Teac A6600. Can you make a video about it on the A6600? Is isopropyl alcohol used for cleaning? and how to clean it, thanks a greeting and a good like from a subscriber,,,,,
@@wherecoulditgo4677 Thank you very much, and a nice like for your contribution to your channel. I will continue to wait for your contribution to the topic, since this topic is not discussed here, since I am at a loss with this maintenance issue for my Teac A-6600,,,,,,,, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
You seem to know the important things. Reel to Reel, the best sound I have ever heard when I was a teenager in late 1970's and since I have always wanted to own 1. Own 19 FM Tuners, 11 Integrated Amps, 3 Monster receivers, 8 CD players, 18 pairs of speakers and 3 cassette (hate vinyl). Must have new Belts in that machine.

I couldn't agree more. I love the way the reel-to-reel sounds. I wish I could have gotten that Toshiba working.
@@wherecoulditgo4677 I will buy 1 hopefully soon, but for me it must be 10" Reels.
