    Thank you for reviewing budget shoes. Not everyone needs expensive shoes to run in. Sure, you can run a little faster in a vaporfly or Boston 12 but 99.9% of us won’t win any prizes even if we run 5-10% faster.

      My thoughts exactly! People only seem to review top end shoes that people don’t always need…..

    Like the budget shoe review angle. It's how I found your channel actually. Used the duramo before. I'm a also a big Adidas adizero fan and managed to get a little quiver together without breaking the bank over the last year with eBay and vinted. I get on well with them. People often sell shoes on because they just don't like the feel.

      Yes Aidan, after doing this experiment I think the way to find value is what you have done, get good shoes at discount. These are fine, but they are what they are….

      No problem Vishal. I agree, everyone seems to just review the really expensive ones! I’ll likely pick up more Duramo’s next year…..

      You are probably right Daz. I like that atm it’s all down to me, not the shoes. Although, I’ve had my eye on some reduced Adios Pro’s but haven’t grabbed them yet…..

    A subscriber from Philippines here. 🎉 Hello. What do you think is the better pair for a 12-15 km easy runs? Duramo 10 or Duramo SL? Thanks in advance.

    • @LARKRunningUK
      @LARKRunningUK  10 місяців тому

      Hello, thanks for watching! I love the Duramo’s and have done that length and longer runs in them at easy pace. The SL have a higher stack too so they would likely be good also. I don’t think either are a bad choice……

    Whice one is better for 5-12km run and daily walk Adidas duramo 10/nike run swift 3/ adidas supernova+ they are all for the same price

    • @LARKRunningUK
      @LARKRunningUK  Рік тому +2

      All good options, especially for a lower price bracket. The Supernova is the more expensive shoe RRP but I have never ran in it so can’t comment. The Run Swift and Duramo are very similar. Maybe try them on if possible and see which is your preference. I love the Duramo but others may not….👍🏻

    Hey man do you know the difference to the Duramo SL 2.0?
    I live in Germany and the Duramo 10 is a bit hard to find (colorways I dont like or a little bit overpriced) but the SL 2.0 is available at a good price with the colorways I would want.

    • @LARKRunningUK
      @LARKRunningUK  10 місяців тому

      Hey, difference wise there isn’t much. The Duramo range has a few shoes in it all quite similar (Speed, SL, Duramo). I’m my opinion, the speed is the one aimed at going slightly quicker, the Duramo is the daily and the SL has a higher stack so a better longer run shoe. All can do all things to an extent, so grab the SL if it’s easier to get and cheaper 👍🏻

    Is it water repellent, during drizzly weather conditions? Thanks

    • @LARKRunningUK
      @LARKRunningUK  3 місяці тому +1

      Yes, mostly. It doesn’t absorb water as it’s a plastic based upper, but some does get through as it’s breathable. Is the only shoe I’ve owned where you see water spraying from the toes as you run…..

    Hi I'm stuck deciding whether to get duramo: 10, SL Speed, adistar 2.0, or the supernova 2.0. They are all good in terms of price, but the problem is I can't decide what's the best for me. Any opinion is appreciated!! Could you break down the specifics to help me pick one? I'm just looking for a shoe that is very durable and has the right amount of cushion and support, by the way, I'm just new to this running stuff so gladly need some help understanding things, thanks!

    • @LARKRunningUK
      @LARKRunningUK  7 місяців тому

      Hi Mark, they are all very different shoes. It depends what you are wanting from them. Are you getting just one as your all round trainer? If so maybe the SL is the best option. The Adistar is better for longer distances/more cushion. The Supernova and Duramo are great budget options. If you can, I would try them on in store as everyone has different preferences….

      @@LARKRunningUK im just starting out so im looking for a all-around budget shoe that does a bit of everything as my 1st pair. A daily trainer that i can also bring in 5k or 10k runs, also if you know some better shoes for other brands that are in the same price range, then let me know! Thanks

    • @LARKRunningUK
      @LARKRunningUK  7 місяців тому

      @markjoshuatolentino24 they’re all okay for what you need and within your budget. If you can, try them on as you may prefer one over the others. Consider the Reebok Floatride Energy as a low price daily trainer too…..

    Does your feet get wet when running on wet surfaces [not puddle pool of water] ?

    • @LARKRunningUK
      @LARKRunningUK  Рік тому

      Hi Tony, sometimes. The plastic recycled materials of the upper don’t absorb water so any splash/heavy rain end up in your socks. Minor negative……

    any thoughts on runfalcon 3? is it better than duramo 10?

    • @LARKRunningUK
      @LARKRunningUK  10 місяців тому

      They are likely to be quite similar but there are some differences. Cloud Foam in Run Falcon vs Light Motion in Duramo. Fabric upper in RF vs recycled materials in Duramo. I love the Duramo and it’s slightly cheaper but both are solid budget shoes….
