⭐Cuboid MANIPULATION - made SIMPLE!⭐

- In this video Osteopath Jamie Archer from THE APPLIEDTECHNIQUE HUB explains the anatomy of the foot in particular the cuboid articulations. He then demonstrates adjustment and contact points for the cuboid bone in relation to the locomotor chain and disfunctions.
There are 26 bones in the foot and 33 joints. When joints don't move properly (fixated) the muscles fire improperly, the joints may suffer abnormal wear and tear, and Morton's Neuroma, Plantar Fasciitis, bone/heel spurs may occur. Spinal, knee and hip issues may also occur when the biomechanics of the feet are dysfunctional.

My husband did this maneuver on me last night, and it has completely resolved my cuboid issue. Inflammation is down and everything. You are a godsend - thank you for this.
BOOM!....glad you are on the road to recovery!
Thank you so much for this video!!! Saved my Christmas! Woke up Xmas morning & couldn’t put any pressure on that foot AT ALL!!! After watching this video one time my 16 year old son was able to follow your instructions exactly!! Amazing! 🙏 Not sure why everyone is saying this looks painful unless they have not ever been to a chiropractor before. Maybe it helped that we’ve both seen a Myopractor for the last 5 years so the motion, pressure and overall ‘feel’ was familiar. No pain... just relief!
Wow....a crystal clear explanation... My dad need this kinda adjustment.. I'll definitely try it on him... Thank u..
Did u try it on him
WE NEED AN UPDATE
@@cainpeele1083 he didn’t survive the procedure. I’m sorry. Mistakes were made.
Like the explanation with the skeleton next to the model
Thank you greatly sir
Thank you for watching!
I’m in Taekwondo and mine kept popping out. I’ve had it put back to place so many times. It didn’t hurt at all, it’s a quick movement and I had instant relief.
Did you do it yourself
Thank you I was able to help my wife’s foot swelling towards the ankle from the pinky toe. Swelling went down immediately and pain in the side of the foot when away instantly thank you
Jimmy Felix is it really effective??
My husband did this to me, and it’s as he describes. Instant relief, swelling went down overnight, and the pain is completely gone.

Outstanding video explanation! Thank you so very much for taking the time.
Your welcome 🙂
Great video and explanation applying podiatric biomechanics to this technique with a patient with an ankylosed CCJ, STJt and lumbar sacral pain worked perfectly... Thank you
Awesome 👍
Thanks this is a great video and learnt so much from this -
Just watching and hearing the pop is satisfying.
That looked and sounded AMAZING
Thank you for the content
Sir you are great
Great technique. 1st class. 👍👍👍
Thanks
Thank you so much
Nicely demonstrated!
I need this
Omg really? But I am in so much pain I couldn't go through that without being put to sleep!!!!
I need that right now!
If you could just teach Chicago chiropractors this technique! My boss injured my cuboid on left foot w/ a supinated toggle board maneuver. Her and 3 other chiros haven’t been able to correct it. She even watched this video but couldn’t figure it out. Constant pain since 2/4/22!
Sorry to hear that... happy to teach anyone.... I'll be right over...🙂
Amazing 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I need that done! I can feel an air pocket in my ankles and my foot needs adjusting!
Does anyone else’s tarsometatarsal joint pop? Often? 7 years ago or so my right ankle popped, then ever few months my tarsom joint would pop on my 2nd to left toe. recently this past month the tarasom joint has been popping a couple times a day. Literally went from a couple times a a year to a couple times a day overnight. I remember feeling really tight the first morning I started noticing it, then I loosened up but the foot popping stayed. I can twist my ankle and it pops then I bend my foot and the tarasom joust pops, only in my right foot too, only on my 2nd to left toe.
Something like that happens to me, you should try the technique in the video and some foam rolling in the calves and a lacrosse ball under the feet!
I can’t even kick a damn soccer ball anymore
Never give up
I’m the same...did you find a solution?
Hello, can you show how you do navicular adjustment?
Also a demonstration on anterior thoracic adjusting for upper, middle and lower thoracic would be great.
Cheers
Yes these are exactly the type of techniques and adjustments I will be adding into The Applied Technique Hub. Filming started this week. www.theappliedtechniquehub.com

Great... will send you an email update

For years I've said this is the issue I have with my feet, but my doctors won't believe me. They keep trying to say its diabetic nerve issues. My A1c is normal and I don't have any nerve damage. Does anybody know what specialist I need to consult for help?
Podrían traducir a español gracias.
Looks painful, but mine hurts bad enough that I would let him do it to my foot.
Thanks for watching..... rarely painful if performed correctly 🙂
@@theappliedtechniquehub what's your technique? I've got a very stick up bone in my foot, I think it's the cuboid bone and my foot bents inwards. Can it be put in place?
Chiropractors are a gift from God, I went to one before and it was a wonderful experience I wish I could continue to have. My right foot needs this badly. My back, neck and knees are desperate for the relief only a chiropractor could sufficiently give me. If only it wasn't so much money for me :(
I've much pain under my right foot (in arc of the foot) and outside of the foot to the 5th toe. Is it a cuboid syndrome problem???
Maybe!....I would recommend you get an assessment
Does a cuboid syndrome resolve itself?
I'd pass out if someone did this to me,I can barely walk up a couple steps after a day of work the pain is that bad
Hi, I'm a 800m runner and I have the middle part of my foot slightly bending and a bone is starting to stick out which seems to be a cuboid. It really hurts after running and I would like to ask you for what sort of treatment I should get for it?
Thanks :)
Thanks for watching the video.....always difficult to give specific advice without physically assessing. If things hurt after running but you can run on it..it is often due to inflammation building....this is always difficult for athletes because if they can run they will run.......seeing a good manual therapist for examination and assessment of the whole loco motor chain is recommended and treatment will often consist of hands on manipulation ( not just exercise / electrotherapy) ....however active rest is also advised.....don't keep going and letting things get worse.....try different surfaces..stay off the track for a few weeks and tarmac...try trails or grass....do not put your spikes on for a few weeks.....warm up and train on the track in the opposite direction ....use cryotherapy to control the inflammation .....tissues take time to heal....so don't expect a quick fix.......hope that helps......
@@theappliedtechniquehub thank you so much for replying, I truly appreciate it :)
To be honest with you if formed mainly on the road due to the track being closed and now I've just returned to the track and the bump is still there but much much less pain if not anything at all.
Should be checking it out soon tho in 2 weeks, thank you very much for your advice and I will continue taking it easy till then!
Take care :)
I’m having this issue. Is resolved through chiropractic or podiatrist?
After walking and sitting sometime when, I again stand up and walk my heal hurts so bad can u please say a way to relieve the pain
I would recommend that you consult a professional in order to find the cause of your pain and then go from there....
Do you think my parents are able to do that to me?
Or isn't recommended to try it
Not recommended.....
I have kind of a weird question. I thought it was my cuboid but apparently not. Ofc my toes can be popped/cracked but I also pop my arch and I can't find that anywhere online. It's just weird, my doctor told me that I have high arches and since I didn't and don't have supports yet that my arches would fall/flatten. So after a long day of walking if I press my thumb into my arch and use my fingers to gently bend the tip of my foot down something deep in my arch pops and it feels good. It feels like my arch is being popped back into place after falling flat but what is actually popping?
Most probably Cavitation..
@@theappliedtechniquehub how does that happen in my arch??
❤❤❤
Who’s angles and foot have moved outward
Does anyone know of an osteopath in London UK who can perform this procedure? I tried two practitioners already and they were unsuccessful
Omg I just twisted my foot in the park and it's so much pain n swell 😢 😢
How do you put your cuboid bone back in place by yourself?
You will need a skilled clinician to adjust the cuboid...think mobility and motion rather than position
Still in so much pain
From my hip, to knee to ankle all feel out of place hip and si hurt so bad. It’s believed my si isn’t stable but I’ve adjusted by squeezing my bad leg/knee over good leg. I squeeze down real hard and a loud pop from knee. After my hip, si, knee and ankle feel right in place not sure why.
Niceeeee
👌
The bone in my foot is not smooth
He sure has a long bony third leg...
NO RUBBER GLOVES????
😂
I cant even move my foot
Cuboids 🕋 gonna hate you for this one
Looks terrifying lol
My mom can't handle it lol I tried it to her Because she got stumble
I AM RN NURSE, JUST NOW WALKING UP THE STAIRS BAREFOOT MY CUBOID BONE POPPED, IT FELT TO SO GOOD, I FELT THE ENERGY WHICH THE CHINESE CALL THE "QI" ENERGY TRAVEL UP MY BODY MERIDIANS____LIKE A POWER SURGE___WEIRD, BUT MY ENERGY MUST HAVE BEEN BLOCKED____I ALSO GOT A RELEASE OF ENDORPHINS
My foot is too painful to manipulate it. Now what
Management of pain level until a skilled clinician can make a specific painless adjustment....
