absolutely loving your commentary because you are natural, unpretentious and its so calming just listening to the footsteps walking and the bits of commentary etc. Keep up the hikes - I admire you cos I go with a walking group and 4 miles kills me ha ha . your commentary puts me in the mind of a mix of Clare Balding when she was doing her Radio 4 walking programme, and ole Jack Hargreaves from the 70's and 80's Out of Town
Wish I was there! 😮😊Great to get out of urban environment and soak up healing nature in all it's glory, take home beautiful memories and the feeling of well-being. I try and do likewise about once a week too. I definitely feel it though for a few days after. But sleep like a log as well. 🍃🌺💤
lovin the wessenden valley, you can actually walk from marsden upto wessenden head, which is where you started your hike to black hill, lovely simple walk.
What a way to spend the Day! Thanks for sharing this , I could even hear the birds. Weather looked good , not too hot and the reservoir was a nice pit stop/ landmark. Please do a Hebden bridge video (Bront'e country) to share. I have many happy memories of hiking here. The atmosphere is wonderful . Glad you made it back safely , I was having visions of a lost hiker never to be seen again. Thanks .
Looks lovely a nice peaceful place. I had some nice walks in the Shropshire hills recently which I had never been to before I felt a bit unfit as I can't scramble rocks like the kids can who were on a school trip (doing the exact same activity I did in the 90s in geography for my GCSE) but its still a nice walk. I'll pick an easier route for my second visit to the hills.😆
Ha ha. It was fine. I know I wasn't far off and knew what direction I should have been going in to get back. The reservoirs were good landmarks. I just didn't want to cut across country away from the permitted walkways. :)
just beautifull watching the speeded up journey down there combined with the music so relaxing to watch before bed
