I wish I could explain how much this band means to me. It's just a comment on youtube but guys, I literally love this band so much musician to musician. Nothing has ever impacted my life the way your albums have . I've listened to you faithfully non stop these 12 years even when I was in a heavy hardcore band and would get made fun of for liking you because it wasn't "cool" I didn't care . Please never stop making magic I'm a grown ass man now and I'm tearing up typing this my inner childhood thanks you your music has kept me sane during such a terrible traumatic childhood
It's sad that many of the people who listen to this track won't give it a real chance because this band starts with contrasting blast beats with post-hardcore clean vocals. This is both, incredibly heavy and incredibly calm. Contrasts make this band stand out. Only a few will get what this music is really about. It's all about the feels.

Growing up during the time of The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Thrice, Thursday, All Else Failed, and a bunch other others this band kicks ass and doesn't get the recognition they deserve. Extremely well put together, the melodic vocals, heavy riffs. Just amazing!

I discovered this band like a month ago now. And I wanted to make sure that they didn't use to be an 'one hit wonder'ers. I've been intensely digging into their discography, Darkness Prevails is such a great album, A Fragile Hope is wonderful -my personal favorite- and Blessed & Cursed is really good as well. So, they didn't disappoint me at all. I'm not really into post-hardcore, especially the bands that influenced with metalcore; I prefer heavier and more 'trve' performings. But DSHS are really unique and special. I love how they use contrastful aspects in their music, harsh and calm at the same time, energetic and yet somehow melancholic... They just write pretty well musical structures. I'm so glad that they're back. And this track is lit!

Man. This song is fantastic. Just listened to the entire album and the title song 'Loss" was utterly amazing.
I discovered this band like a month ago now. And I wanted to make sure that they didn't use to be an 'one hit wonder'ers. I've been intensely digging into their discography, Darkness Prevails is such a great album, A Fragile Hope is wonderful -my personal favorite- and Blessed & Cursed is really good as well. So, they didn't disappoint me at all. I'm not really into post-hardcore, especially the bands that influenced with metalcore; I prefer heavier and more 'trve' performings. But DSHS are really unique and special. I love how they use contrastful aspects in their music, harsh and calm at the same time, energetic and yet somehow melancholic... They just write pretty well musical structures. I'm so glad that they're back. And this track is lit!
