Something so moving and relatable about the line, "I want my kids to swim in the creek", which brings me to tears. I too contemplate and consider having a family. But to bring them into this world is a frightening thing. What kind of world will tthey inhabit? The rise of fascism in America stops me.

I love you guys tremendously, you are my favorite band, but I gotta disagree on the notion that the world is so unlivable for children to the point that you wouldn't have any.
I have young children and it brings you to the highest purpose of life, to live for another and not for yourself.
And this is the safest era in history to have kids as modern medicine has dropped child death rates to miniscule percentages.
You wouldn't be here if your ancestors were scared to have kids during plagues, famines and no modern medicine.
Don't allow this world to influence you to the point that your willing to end your lineage.
