- We’re starting off July HOT with a double theme and we’re reserving Mondays for movies from last year that had buzz that we have yet to see. We’ve been seeing some goods stuff lately and I don’t think July is gonna let up because we’re starting it off with S.S. Rajamouli’s new classic Telugu Indian epic “RRR” and holy shit is this something to see. Two Indian revolutionaries reimagined as great rivals, friends and superheroes. It’s a breezy 3 hours, it’s on Netflix (as of this writing) and holy shit that escape scene. Rajamouli’s movie hits where epic directors like Zack Snyder seem to miss. If it’s too fiery for you then, rest assured, there’s water power here too. And tiger power. And friendship fusion. And singing and dancing, of course.

Director didn't put disclaimer because he was arrogant about the fact that he was using avatar level cgi but because Censorboard of India has a rule that you have to **explicitly mention the use of animals whether they are real or not otherwise your movie will not get released.**
Any major harm to real animals can lead to penalty and court case.

**It is the most expensive INDIAN MOVIE EVER MADE at 72 million dollars.
**It was The FIRST INDIAN MOVIE to be shot on Arri Alexa Lf camera (most expensive camera used by Hollywood directors..Cost 120,000 to 150,000 dollars) with the widest Signature prime lens possible in native 5k quality.
**That's why it has resolution of IMAX.**
**Shooting took 320 days.
**Natu natu was shot in Ukraine at presidential palace and Won an Oscar and golden globe for Best original song.
**RRR also won 28 different USA filmfestival awards including best picture and best director.
**It made record on Netflix for being the only non english movie that was on top trending list for 16 consecutive weeks in 62 countries.

In bahubali main lead plays both father and son characters so don't get confused unlike Western movies Indians movies have long flash backs
this movie took 2 years of shooting...Ram introduction alone took 2 months with 2000 extras
The upcoming Kalki 2898 movie is the most expensive Indian movie ever made
Raju knows Bheem is not Muslim when he sees him praying before the Hindu shrine. (The music cue in the score underlines this moment, and we see the recognition in Raju's eyes at this moment in the story.) The holy thread also reinforces Bheem's Hindu identity (also worn my Lachhu). Before Bheem leaves to rescue Malli, he tells him. If you as an international audience member didn't understand the meaning of the first two visual cues, it is explicitly spelled out in the dialogue (so no one in the world audience will miss it). Visual story telling at its best!!
If you want you could review the Bollywood movie "3 Idiots". I believe it will make the top 3 of all time movies you have watched.
Bheam was not in love with Jenny.....But it was the other way round......he wanted befriend her in order to enter the governor's residence to search for Mali as it was the only place as it was the only remain location he was not able to access.....She was the only one who was kind and had access to the residence that he could approach......
11:55 The end song is just a bonus performance for the audience; also paying homage to the freedom fighters of India. It's not part of the story. The director wraps up their individual missions in little clips, during the song.
Dead people come back to life. 😅😂🤣

Guys, i really enjoyed your reaction. In India, most of the budget in a movie goes towards the actors' and director remuneration. In this case, $ 30 million . Other movies you might like

Jenny's character is based on one of the three wives, Hidimbi, of Bheema of the epic Mahabharata. Hidimbi, a demoness, falls in love with Bheema when her demon brother sends her to lure Bheema so that he can kill and eat him. But Hidimbi helps Bheema kill her brother and marries him.

Welcome to Indian Cinema. This movie was not much in India, because Indians have seen many movies which created greatest cinema experience. Though Bahubali is one of thr biggest here. KGF is bigger than RRR. In terms of cinematic magic.
It is clssic example of fan worshipping.
RRR'S filmaking was much much better than both kgf combined.
Prashant Neel should buy some LEDs for the sets.
Saying KGF is better than RRR is like saying Babar Azam is better than kohli
