i think he is an all time great, while the affects of drugs alc and partying is very apparent its all recent. Before his fight against Khabib he had all that same dive and determination. he is a great and will go down as one of the best despite his downfall in the end
At no point in this fight does Conor look at all fatigued beyond what your expect in a 3 round high-paced fight. He comes out in the third round just as spry as the other two, throws several quick strikes, and use his foot work to keep position very well. Then when the fight goes to the ground He works to advance position and gets to them out a couple times.. when Max gets up, he takes him right back down. Hell, he takes Max down with ease near the end of the 3rd round. You think a gassed fighter is talking max down like it’s nothing? Do you know Conor tore is ACL in the middle of this fight, right? You fools have no idea what you’re looking at when you see a fight, you’re just looking for what you’re told you should be seeing, Connor had a great gas tank back in this era of his career and his wrestling was quite solid.
