I think you mentioned you nearly moved to Sverige. Is it hard for a Brit to relocate there? (In terms of legality and emigration hurdles etc). I am similar to you, obsessed with Sweden (Scandinavia as a whole).
Welllll... before Brexit it was incredibly easy. Turn up, tell the local council you were there and get a social security number and stay as long as you like. Now, I'd need a visa or a large sum of money to get in and no guarantee that I could stay longer than 3 months 😫. As Sweden is quite an expensive country for rent, food, etc., you'd need a good job before going that sorted out your visa and helped you find accommodation. But getting a job is now super difficult, as the rule within the EU is that you can only employ people outside the EU if no-one who applies within the EU is good enough. You can't look at their CV until you've checked all the CVs from EU candidates first. It would be really difficult to get there now 😭😭😭
@@WelshASMR82Nordics Wow. What an absolute joke Brexit is. I wonder if you were the most experienced in that position applied for, they'd accept you/me over an EU citizen?....or is it cut and dry?
