  • Install a drainage system on the roof | Make wind chimes from wild snail shells | - FARM LIFE
    ----------------
In an effort to combine sustainability with creativity, I embarked on a project to build a roof drainage system while reusing wild snail shells into charming wind chimes. Here's how I did it:
    Construction of roof drainage system:
    1. *Assessment and planning:*
I start by evaluating the roof layout and surrounding landscape to determine the most effective drainage points. This involves considering the slope, material and size of the roof.
    2. *Material selection:*
Choosing environmentally friendly materials, I chose PVC pipes because of their durability and ease of installation.
    3. *Installation:*
Using careful measurements and precise calculations, I installed PVC pipes along the edge of the roof, directing water away from the building's foundation. Proper slope and support have been added to ensure efficient water flow.
    4. *Check and maintenance:*
After installation, I tested the system under simulated rainfall conditions to ensure proper operation. Regular maintenance, including gutter cleaning and pipe inspection, is scheduled to prevent blockages and prolong the life of the system.
Making wind chimes from wild snail shells:
    1. *Case collection:*
Respecting nature, I collect empty wild snail shells on the ground, making sure not to disturb the living specimens or their habitat. This step is done taking into account the ecological balance.
    2. *Cleaning and preparation:*
After collecting a sufficient number of shells, I carefully clean and remove any dirt or debris. Once dry, the shell is inspected for cracks or damage.
    3. *Design and assembly:*
Inspired by nature, I arrange the shells in aesthetic patterns, taking into account their shape and size. Using twine or eco-friendly fishing line, I string the shells onto the metal frame, creating a harmonious arrangement.
    4. *Hang and enjoy:*
Once assembled, the wind chimes are hung in outdoor spaces where they can catch the wind. Their gentle jingle added a soothing atmosphere to the surroundings.
By combining practicality with creativity, I demonstrate how sustainable practices can be integrated into everyday projects, enriching our lives while reducing our ecological footprint.

    Bonjour lan lan
