Did you put a speedometer healer on? I found my CBR125R's speedometer is about 10% optimistic. So 120 km/h on the speedometer actually means 108 km/h. 140 would be 126.

I own one of these , 2015 year, your not hitting these speeds on flat roads but yeah downhill you can do this fully tucked into your tank ive hit an indicated 87mph. if you buy one of these bikes though this is not the norm lol expect to be doing 60-70 depending on conditions road and your seating postion. A slight headwind or incline and your speed drops off noticeabley. never struggles to hit 60 though and tucking into the tank usually gives a few more mph in bad head winds.
It vibrates at high rpm due to that the engine dont have a balance shaft inside of it, it dont have the balance shaft because that would make the engine slower, so now you know why it is vibrating!!

Maybe you should not have gone to the red zone at all (or atleast not after the first 1-3 gears), also quicker shifting helps alot and I'm not sure if you did it but lean forward next time, so you won't pick up so much wind. EDIT: I tested my CBR just few minutes ago and I even had some upphill. Even though I don't have anything to measure it with or a friend to measure it for me, it really didn't really take more than maybe 13s if even that to reach the 100km/h and. You need to shift your gears quicker and don't take it to the red zone after second gear!. In this video you stayed on the 5th gear too long!

Check what type of engine u have there is 3 A,B,C its usually writed on trunk or under the left plastic close to steering wheel (idk how its called on motorcycles in english lol) A is unlocked engine (more power) B is locked bcs od local ław in country and C is just locked . But the Reason i wouldnt compare each other is, Tuned Scooter makes fun, but they are not legal. 125cc is slower, but in top speed its better and its legal I dont understand those guys who hate scooter or 125cc, both make fun and we are all driver :) (Sry for my english, im from germany xD )

However, later, when the scooters and I got to the same speed (in cities around 50 km/h). Their engines are loud and stressed while my bike is like "50 km/h, no big deal".
The CBF will top out at about 70mph, where as the CBR, I've had mine topped out at 92mph. The difference is the power and the aerodynamics of the fairings. The seating position on s CBR is sportier than the CBF, although it's a more relaxed sports seating position :)

Is it downhill? 140km/h isn´t realistic top speed at normal condition. I know, cause I´ve ridden one of these. Real GPS-measured top speed is something like 120km/h or less.
I have one, I didn't drive it maximum speed but I got up to about 130 km/h with SLIGHT wind against me, but as I said I didn't try to max it. Standard parts, no hills.
Peenut Gallarry I´ve done the same downhill and on a plain and reached downhill 146 km/h and on the plain 136 km/h with belly touching the tank. I´m about 80 kg. Takes some time to get up there as you said.
