2 cups brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled
    1/2 cup coffee liqueur (optional)

    Cocoa powder, for dustingInstructions:
    1. In a bowl, whisk together sugar and heavy cream until pale and creamy.
    2. Gradually add the mascarpone cheese to the mixture, mixing until well combined. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
    3. In a shallow dish, combine the brewed espresso and coffee liqueur (if using).
    4. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
    5. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish.
    6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, smoothing it out with a spatula.
    7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
    8. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
    9. Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder.
