in the narrative of this anime, Tet is told as a god who did nothing during the past war, he is told only to watch this war take place and claim The Suniastar as his victory trophy and sit on the throne of the only god. but in the novel, it is explained how the concept of gods in that world. all the gods who created races in their NGNL were born by an inner circuit, something that gives all living things in the NGNL world power, magic and mana. the gods were born because of this circuit. then, Tet was not born like that. Tet was born from the prayer of a lonely boy who wanted a chess opponent who was equal to him. so all this time Tet has always been beside Riku, and Riku is the reason why Tet was born so that Tet has no fighting power whatsoever. he also did not participate in the war to fight for the throne of god, because the reason for his existence was as Riku's playmate. but even though Tet did not participate, he was still a god race, which is only a god race that can get and use The Suniastar. Riku's last prayer was what manifested Tet's physical form into the real world because previously Riku was not sure about Tet's existence. that's why if you look back at season 1 in episode 1, when Tet invited Shora and Shiro, he showed them The Suniastar, because it actually belonged to both of them.

disagree...for a movie and without the chances of a 2nd season they made a great job...the movie is great and ofc they skipped content but still is good...in fact the movie is underrated because people only know the show and they think that the movie is the same and they're missing so much for it...
