The bike in the video is the PUKY LRM (the smallest one suitable for 2-4 years) www.kidsbikeshop.co.uk/lrm.html You can see all of the PUKY range at www.kidsbikeshop.co.uk
...and here we are 10 years later and my son mentioned Lenny this morning, wonder what he was doing now! Fun to see our original comment a decade later! Hope all is well across the pond!
Lenny is adorable! My son just recieved this exact Puky balance bike a few days ago shipped from a releative in Germany who's son grew out of it. It's identical in every respect! Gliders or Balance bikes for children are almost non-existent here in the U.S. You can ditch the training wheels and I think the child learns balance much faster. The tire valves are different but a $5 ebay order for a pair of valve adaptors did the trick. Thank you Lenny for the fabulous entertainment, well done!
That is the cutest thing I've ever seen. I was going to get a tricycle for my 2 year old grandson, but I'm now definitely getting him a balance bike instead.
Mate, sitting here with my two and a half year old son (for whom we bought a LikeaBike two months ago)...we both LOVE this video....thank you for sharing, and way to go, Lenny!
So, I just had to tell you guys that our 2-year-old LOVES this video and likes to "watch Lenny" after he gets done riding his balance bike. Ha! Thanks for posting :)
Cheers Lenny, I hope my lad will be following in your wake. Great riding, great filming great memories for you all to keep. We love the time for home tantrums and 'No Cycling' shot. Big siss has some cool moves on the slalom and credit to mum and dad too! Give that boy a knighthood :-)
I love the videos of the little ones riding so smoothly. So many of the videos I've come across the kids knees are very bent and it doesn't look as comfortable or smooth. I think it's because they're so new here (in the U.S.) that not everyone knows how to properly set the seat height. I can't wait for my son to get started!!
It doesn't have brakes, but if you are getting for a 2 year old I found this bike the best size. I tried him on the next size puky and the ridgeback scoot and found them too big. Also he is now on a proper bike and it took ages to get him to use brakes. Avoid hills!
Great video! Lenny looks like he's really enjoying his Puky. We've ordered one for our little lad based on this, hope he enjoys it as much. Thanks for posting :-)
Hi. Thanks for watching. Lenny is average size. He got this on his 2nd birthday and it was perfect until quite recently (he's 3 and 1/2). In general, kids do better if their bike is a touch small - a touch too big and riding is harder and less enjoyable so I guess it depends how tall your daughter is.
this was very cool. haha this video just convinced me to buy my nephew one haha...he's only about 8 months now so I'ma have to wait til he's at least a yr and half but hey... :) keep it up Lenny. haha I like your spirit after your crash :D all the best.
I can only thin k he was average. The first shots in this video were when he was 22 months. Do get the puky LRM, most others are to big and quite heavy (we've tried). This one is great for 2 years olds and you can easily carry it around.
Hi David, thank You for your movie with Lenny and family. My little Matylda (18m) get puky lrm last week. I had to cut a under sits pipe about 1,5 cm becouse was to high. From last 4 m my doughter used to watching mickey mouse donald duck and Lenny. She learn how to speak polish but she very understand when Lenny starts to cry when you said came back home... and she starts to do the same. Now Matylda try to ride on all stones what she see. In future I would like to put the movie like you here. Thank U.
Best part 1:08 "No Cycling" [2-year-old rides past screen] though I guess technically he's "scooting" like the kid in the shot going the other way. Mobile babies are harder to watch and keep safe and that's just when they walk around. That thing lets them "run" twice as far, twice as fast. I'd be afraid of them breaking away (like Lenny did at the end) and then getting hurt or snatched before I can catch up to them. This made me wish I had "Jumping Jack Flash" (w/Whoopie Goldberg) on DVD.
Not sure about Canada. It is the smallest "Puky" (LRM I think) you can get and I can thoroughly recommend for 2 year olds, having tried a few other balance bikes that were too big and heavy (like the ridgeback one).
Great video, he clearly loves his wee bike, brilliant! Can you offer any tips? I just got my wee lad (he was two in June) a little Islabike balance bike as he's always been interested in daddy's bikes but the dozen or so times we have taken it out he's not been keen at all, clearly it's very early days and I'll just keep up with the taking it out with him and let him take his own time but any pointers would be great! Next time I think I'll take my own too and maybe seeing me on mine will help but it's tricky as I feel I need to be quite close for the first attempts to get him going if you know what I mean? Cheers!
I'm not certain but the Islabike might be a bit too big for a 2 year old. We got the Puky LRM which lenny took off on. Being bike mad I thought he should have a better one with a brake and I got hold of the Ridgeback one. It was too big and there was no way he could operate the brake so I sold it and went back to the LRM. Puky have now thanked Lenny for this video (which we made purely for fun), and given Lenny a new bike! I have also put a link to their website as a thanks back.
Hi a David, love your video, I guess Lenny is now 4. We got this bikes for our 2 year old twins, they just turn 2 last Saturday. How tall was Lenny when he first ride the bike? Did he take long to get use to the bike.? My boys loved them the first day but only walk with them a little bit now. We don't know if we wasted the money of buying this or not as they only are them for 5-10 mns. Please advice. Thanks
SPORNTHIDA Hi, I don't think you wasted your money. The LRM is really small, so it is perfect for the smallest riders. Lenny was only 22 months in the first shots of this video. Give them time. Are the seats high enough? If they are too low, it won't be so natural for them to start to coast.
+David Austin thanks David, i just saw your reply. My boys love the bike and getting fast with it. I guess I have to raise the saddle right to be Able to coast!
This makes so much sense for little ones. Did it take him a while to get use to pedals? His balance would have brilliant I guess, no need for stabilisers.
Stick with two wheels and get the LRM I reckon - Puky owe me some cash! Lenny was exactly the same age as yours when he first got this. Bike was his first word!
...and here we are 10 years later and my son mentioned Lenny this morning, wonder what he was doing now! Fun to see our original comment a decade later! Hope all is well across the pond!
"NO CYCLING" sign was funny. And when he fall and couldn't get up like he forgot how to walk back again haha
This is the coolest cutest video ever!💞 I love Lenny!♥️

My 2-year-old loves this video. He has a Puky, too and is just as wild as Lenny is!
Beautiful video! Beautiful children! Thanks for sharing!

Karen Michaud
He'll benefit far more from it :D
Great video! We are purchasing a balance bike for our 2.5 year old for Christmas and after watching Lenny I can't wait!
In un mondo che fa schifo, 5 minuti di serenità!
Grazie

Sofia, 22 months, from Russia is BIG Lenny's fan! Thanks to Lenny she is now the devoted Puky rider!

David, many thanks! This favourite movie of my daughter.
She is the Ukrainian but when falls, speaks English: "big crash!!!"

Thank you for this cool private video.

Cutest video I've seen on UA-cam in a long time! Why this doesn't have millions of views is beyond me! :)
This video made e and my 16 year old smile. Very beautifully done.

Amazing! Well done - this made me smile and laugh and want to get a push along bike.
My son's not even born yet and I cant wait to get him one of these!
What a fantastic video. Lenny is a real dude! You should work in the film industry man!
Just got a pukky for my son, nice bike...
Just simply VERY WELL DONE !! Grandparents-job well done with your son !!
Thanks for sharing! My son will be getting a balance bike for his 2nd birthday coming up now. :)

Awwwww. This was so much fun to watch
Hi hi ten mały śmiga na rowerku niczym Szurkowski :D widać też, ze ma z tego frajdę co jest kluczem do zarażenia cyklozą :) świetny filmik
Loved it so much you inspired me to cobble together my own video. :)
He is SOO cute!!
I'll pass that on to the lad, he should find that really encouraging.
One of the best comments! Definitely go smaller rather than larger. Easier to ride and easier to carry.
Lenny best wishes from Poland ;)
I wonder if you kept this bike . My son has just stsrted to use it. Its really a great bike
I totally dig his brown boots ^_^ and when he cycles across the "no cycling" zone :p

Awesome. Being a biker will be in his blood although his childhood.
How's Lenny today, David?
" "" " GOOD & GREAT " " "

He could pedal straight away, but after one go he wouldn't do it again - preferring the balance bike! Eventually he did ride the pedal bike though.

The beauty of balance bikes is in their name: they teach kids how to balance, and far more effectively than any third wheel crutch.
Where is that location?
Planning to buy for my little boy the same balance bike. Would be ideal to use it from 1+ or earlier????
Glafkos Obion only if they can walk
little tinker
All over the place! It's turning out to be a youtube hit, nearly 1000 hits a week!
Did he have the Pukylino bike first? I am not sure if i should start with the Pukylino bike an then get this bike. He will be 2 in June.
Stick with two wheels and get the LRM I reckon - Puky owe me some cash! Lenny was exactly the same age as yours when he first got this. Bike was his first word!
David Austin Thank you
Would this bike be OK fora a 1,5y old boy or not??
Want to get one for my son in the summer where he will be 18-months old
It's as small as they get so go for it! He'll soon grow
I bet they do David.. Lenny is already 8+ today I guess. :)
No it needs to be a bike with pedals and brakes
Can you tell me, dose this bike have brakes?
can i get one of these bikes in Canada? and where?? pls.
SMART TRAINING WHEELS
You will grow up one day
