And so many people have good families
The high rate of quitting starts with a lie and a plot to destroy traditionalism

@@crossbearer6453 you're full of shit. Nobody is obligated to follow YOUR beliefs of what their lives should be. Maybe when men start taking some parental responsibility this won't be such a big issue anymore. Society isn't being destroyed by less people choosing to have children. We're still massively overpopulated and only getting worse. Go read something that doesn't come from a biased, conservative news site. We don't need to "come to our senses" because you don't like the choices we make for ourselves.
And that's coming from a woman who very much wants to get married and have FIVE children.

Just because a person gets paid to work outside of home doesn't mean that being a stay at home parent isn't equally qualified as work .
Both are valid contribution to the household.
The issue is that often time the person who works outside of the home deminishes the contribution of the homemaker as vacation .
Staying home require cleaning the home, cooking, doing laundry, running errands, driving the children to appointments, caring for the children's education, immediate physical, social emotional needs and many more.
It's inconceivable that if both parent do 8 hours of work, one individual is required to continue doing more work by themselves for the rest of the day just because his or her contribution is looked down on .
Parenthood is a partnership. Once each person in thr relationship has accomplished their work hours outside of inside the home, the rest of hours left in the day should be split equally to give each person the opportunity to rest and recuperate.

At first, when I saw the husband playing (playstation?) in bed...I was like, 'dude, put the controller down. Your wife could use your help!
Then...when work becomes more important than your family...that's a bit of a red flag. If a work promotion causes you to be away more...is it worth it?
A good husband can tell when his wife is worn out. It's his job to make sure that doesn't happen, by taking at least half the house work load.

@@Franko180489The mom works 24/7 while the dad works 8 hours (probably). The dad of course is tired and deserves some time to relax, but so does the mom. She works all day every day without any breaks, any money to show for her hard work, and gets yelled at by people when her children act out. She never gets a thank you.
Being a stay at home mom is exhausting when you have no support from your spouse. She’s given up everything in her personal life to take care of the family and people don’t respect her hard decision as society often sees stay at home moms as freeloaders that get to do whatever they want.
