Based on your comment, I understand you are Maharashtrian. But you have commented in English on our Tulu version rather than English version. I really don't understand what is UA-cam upto. Why is it not suggesting our English versions?. Anyways, coming to your question, most of the seafood recipes of the western coastal belt from Maharashtra to Kerala follow a similar recipe. There maybe however a difference in souring agent, (tamarind in this case could be substituted with cocum or kodampuli or kachampuli).

If you have only 4 bangude then the proportion of spices and chilies would be lower. Also it depends upon the size of the fish. As thumb rule, for a kg of mackerel use 20 byadgi red chillies. For other type of chilies the quantity would be lower
