It's so refreshing to see you not overthink what you are bringing to Paris. A lot of YT content creators strategize which clothes and shoes to match with their Chanels and Birkins. The truth is the Parisians do not care and won't be impressed with too dressed up style.

Always fun to see how others organize. For the backs of the drawers I stuff unused dust covers (Gucci shoe bags/etc) with packing materials and use them as spacer to push my things forward and keep them from bunching up. Accessories boxes work in the same way. Cheers to Paris! Plz hit Le Bon Marché for picnic snacks.
As you like tea going to Mariage Frères is a must. They have a huge range of fabulous teas. There are branches everywhere in Paris now.
Love a root through a closet ❤5 or more years ago I had my closets done by CA Closets. I have the pull down bars to maximize the height of the room (gave 3 rows of horizontal hanging bars). Smallest section is 3 ft wide. Top pull down holds 20 blazers. Just in case someone was wondering if they were useful.

I am living near Versailles. Go to Pierre Hermé for macaron at tea time. You can have lunch at George, in the top of Beaubourg, and spend time on the Marais,the old part of the town on the same area. Of course go to avenue Montaigne, a nice shopping spot. Le musée d’Orsay is to be seen. Smaller is musée Rodin a very nice place Hope you will enjoy. ❤❤❤
I hope you have a wonderful trip! California Closets is usually not that difficult to make some changes. Speak with your SA to see what is involved to move hamper and drawers (if they are the same size). Some may require an entirely new section, but sometimes that is not the case. They can also move your hubby's tie rack very easily. And additional divided drawers were also easy to add.
i was able to travel to Paris in early November last year and i highly recommend visiting Musée de l’Orangerie. the Monet was gorgeous and the Sam Szafran exhibit was brilliant.

Thanks for the closet tour! It's always interesting to see how ppl organize. We also have trouble with clothes reaching the back/staying up. We got some Ikea organizers, but I'm in the hunt for something more adjustable. You would think there would be something T shaped where you can adjust the depth for drawers.
So exciting you're going to Paris. It's been pretty stinking cold in Europe, so I think we're going to love it. Hope you packed enough warm clothes!

I am one who would opt for clear glass on the doors. It’s not for others…it’s for me. My closet is finished in cedar but have the closet system with drawers, shelves with glass doors, two long hanging clothing racks and six half hanging clothing racks. Now, if I could just stop buying new clothes that I have to find a location for…😂. Enjoy you so much, Michele! Purchased the CurrentBody eye and lip duo. Those are my major problem areas. If those don’t work, they also have Schlage. It just depends on the brand you have, but build is a reputable site. Hope that helps…….Paris is amazing! One of my very favorite places I’ve ever been. You’re going to love it.
I totally agree with everything! First, those cabinets with drawers & flat top is brilliant. I also don't want to see open shelves or clear doors, I want the visual of tidy & calm. I would want the laundry in the cabinet area as well, I feel like that's where I would undress 80% of the time. I might add a TV or mirror (or both) to the wall above the cabinets (if there's enough room with the windows). For me anything that goes on the upper racks, never gets worn!😏 I want my phone bedside for safety reasons. 😉 But the drawer is great for all the other gadgets. And lastly, I would be very upset with the tie rack!! I feel like that's something a professional should have advised & checked. As you know a man's tie is the crown jewel of his outfit, they can be very expensive and finicky to keep fresh, crisp & clean. That's a shame.🙄 Ok, so PARIS!!😍 I'm so excited for you, this is a perfect time right before Spring!! Thanks for sharing 🤍
When you go to Paris, I recommend going to Lancel by the Opera (beautiful French handbags) then a short walk to the Printemps and les Galeries Lafayettes ( I think you will thoroughly enjoy their boutique perfume section)

How I FELL OVER MYSELF to order the eye and lip kit! I use the CurrentBody mask but my worst area is my eyes, so I was so excited to see that new gadget! And I think Angie at Hot and Flashy uses the hand LED mitts!

you're going to love paris! i'm going for the third time next month, on a trip with my mom to london, paris, and amsterdam. i always go in winter/spring - it's honestly the perfect time to visit because there are way fewer tourists and the weather is usually pretty decent. all the cafes have heat outside anyway. but make sure you bring a really, really warm coat because the humidity in the air cuts right through you.

Paris is so magical. I highly recommend the Musee de O’rsay. The Degas paintings made my cry from the beauty. Also the Rodin Museum. The gardens are impeccable, although I’ve only been during the warmer months. Also, order a porn star martini at one of the restaurants. You won’t be disappointed. Wandering that city is like a dream.

I’ve been to Paris in November when it was grey and cold. But, bonus, very few tourists. If you get a chance go to the Paris Opera House. Such a stunning building. Very like Versailles. Also the Monet paintings in L’Orangerie and the Musee D’Orsay. Highly recommended.

This looks great! Thanks for saying what u would do differently. It’s helpful. In my last house i used cal closets. I used one of those tie or belt pull outs (cant remember which) to hold my bras. I had it in a spot on the end so it wasn’t out in the open or impeding anything but i loved it. My drawer space was at a minimum and i didnt want to fold them so i used the pull out. Just throwing out there for others.

The LED light mask sounds amazing. That's my trouble area. I have a pacemaker, so I'd have to check with my cardiologist to see if I can use and LED device.
Paris is supposed to be incredible. My youngest daughter went to Paris, London, and Amsterdam after she graduated college. A gift from her father.

For good quality ballet flats try Repetto and for super soft tees Majestic Filatures is an excellent brand. Love your vlogs, not only they are lots of fun but also informative. My daughter and I went to Paris in 2015 and we spent most of our time in the museums lol. If we ever get a chance to go back, we'll hit up more of the restaurants and other spots. Beautiful city.

Yes I do use a pole to get the higher things down. So much easier than grabbing the ladder every time.

I have a valet rod in my closet that is located in the vicinity of a vent. I use it to hang my delicate wash/no dry items on the same kind of hangers you have. My stuff dries very quickly. I have LVP in my closet so there’s never any water dripping problems.

OMG you are so smart to not go to Paris during Christmas/New Year. I went this year at that time and it was terrible, the longest lines to go into museums I’ve ever seen in my life. The best time to go to Paris is when there are no holidays, etc.
The tie rack would bug me too and I agree with the glass doors. Everything else looks great.

Lol, i’m a folder too! I fold all my underwear and socks a particular way. My mum was very particular about keeping house and would starch and iron everything including sheets. I hope you enjoy your trip! I much prefer Paris at this time of year because it’s full of tourists in summer and I’m just not a summer person in any case. 😂 I did just watch Alyssa Lenore’s vlog in Paris which I really enjoyed.
Hi Michele, you really need to go and see the Chateau de Versailles - it’s stunning. But first you should watch the Versailles series which is all about king Louis XIV. Highly recommended! 💕

Just got back from Paris! I shopped until I dropped. It's awesome to go now, no lines. Be careful, I got my phone stolen outside the Eiffel tower on my last night there. My bestie and I did London and Paris.

Michele please check out Le Tout Paris , a cafe/ restaurant on top of Cheval Blanc hotel near Pont Neuf. The views are incredible and the food looks amazing. I looked at La Carte de Voyage video that she did on this restaurant if you want to check it out. She did a video on the Polene bags !!! Have a wonderful time!!! Paris is always a good idea, even in February!!!

Love your closet but I’m surprised that the designer didn’t recommend you change the placement of your husband’s ties and hamper placement. That is why you hired this company. The designer should have picked up on the error.

I think it’s better not to have your iPhone or android phone bedside. I get a more peaceful and restful sleep when my phone is across the house. I have a very tiny adorable little clock with hands bedside and that’s all I need.
How fun going to Paris after you went to Morocco I made a coffee spice like you had I looked up the recipe and I put that in my coffee and it's great so if you taste any good Parisian coffees let us know

I can't help notice and wanted to know if it's because lately and for sometime videos have not been relatable. It's not just you but since covid many youtubers are just talking about luxury all the time week after week. Money has been very tight for many and a lot of youtubers are just buying endless luxury amount of makeup and designer bags. Can you do a video of real time and reality of what's actually going on?
