I'm sad to hear he had such a bad experience with your DB orders. I've been saying this for the longest but DB needs to have a return section on there sites. That way if a bag is returned cause it's damaged or no longer factory wrapped the buyer will know and can decide if they want to purchase this bag at a lower price point. I'm glad you was able to keep.at least one of your bags. I love there floerntine satchel it's my favorite silhouette from them. Enjoy your Holidays 💚

Also it would mean for them paying more staff and adding so i doubt it would happen. For now all you can do is let them know in the online return field and write reviews on their website. I’m so sorry you had this experience. I live near a Dooney outlet, I won’t purchase from websites I go into the store and personally pick my bags. Dooney is known for quality. They better start striving to maintain that reputation.

I have ordered a couple mini satchels the Denim is smooth and I did not detect any flaws in the two that I ordered. My Fuschia has tiny dark spots but you have to look closely the leather was smooth and scratch free. Bordeaux looked old and dusty as though was not stained correctly and there were scratches, they can never get that color right. I am saying this based on multiple encounters with these colors, so it's the Denim for the win.

Thank you for reinforcing my "declining to purchase" decision I made last week. I was all set ready to purchase a Florentine satchel for over $300. Im so glad I went to the reviews starting w the 1☆s. What made me think twice about buying was not just the inconsistency with the bags and the issues, but also the things I read about their Customer Service while trying to exchange bags (which most everyone not being able to per policy.. having to return and purchase again paying the non-sale price). Their CS experiences turned me off. I am so embarrassed I have at least 10 Coach, Dooney, Kate Spade, Radley London bags- mainly Coach- that Ive never used or taken out of delivering boxes. I hate returning, so I think my next bag will have to be an in-store purchase. It would also do me well to instead save my money for a Prada bag which so far, has never disappointed me. This is my first time watching you, and I saw a comment about rate of return on different sites helping these companies to get away w lack of quality products. Can you explain your findings? I'm very curious about that. Also, what do you think of Patricia Nash leather? I have 2 or 3 still boxed bc of stiff leather. Lovely bags, I just dont like stiff bags. And thirdly, have you come across any med/lg satchels (of any real, soft leather bags) that are close to your "old" blue Dooney bag? That bag was gorgeous!! It seems there are just cheaply made Outlet bags out there. I would rather even buy a gently used quality bag than the ones out now. But that area is a huge gamble also! I had only one PN bag and never used and then sold it. It was a cute neutral brown bag but at that time I preferred my MCM totes over it. I want to look into Mulberry as well. I can relate to everything you’re saying. I believe they’re intentionally discounting some poor quality bags, so they can get rid of them quickly. The Florentine is so inconsistent, you never know what you’re going to get. I recently received a large sac with a broken strap loop. It looked fine at first, but when I attached the clasp, the bag fell to the floor. Of course I called customer service & was told to mark the return as defective so I wouldn’t be deducted the $10, but who knows what will happen when they get the bag back? It is very frustrating!

That's so unfortunate. I have also made 3 unboxings that i haven't been able to post. I was most excited about the mini florentine satchel in brown tmoro. It had many imperfections. The straps were lopsided, the handles laid crookedly, and the green suede wasn't trimmed properly and sticking out. There were 2 spots with glue residue. I was disappointed. I've also ordered a few other pieces that I have since returned for similar reasons. I hope that people making these returns will have them rethink sending out defective goods. Dooney customers are very smart and know immediately what theyve been sent whether its a return or subpar quality. These damaged goods should be sold at their store on major markdowns. This way customers see exactly what they are purchasing. The hassle of returns is very inconvenient and we get charged to return detective merchandise.

Hello ❤️ I noticed that too! The made in usa natural satche they recently sold also doesn't have the reinforced feet. I also saw the Ivy doesn't have them and was surprised since I was hoping they did that modification to the usa ones only but it seems they do that now all over. I also was suspecting it has to do with the Mexico plant. Let's hope for better ones next year! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 PS I would have kept the ivy too if it didn't have ballpen marks. They have ivy in the regular site again for triple the price. I wonder if those have reinforced feet...
