Everyone should be ready to shoot at any time. There’s no excuse for missing shots in this game, it’s too easy. If you miss, you miss it happens…can’t blame anyone but yourself. I’ve had games where the only shots I got were in the clutch, even sometime game winners.

I’d see if the game’s server was solid enough to be consistent with its latency, but it’s not. I got fiber optic 1000Gb speeds, play on LAN and on a high speed gaming monitor and still get hella delay on 2K just on the menus. Gotta get a feel for the rec before you can get consistent. Defense is a different story. The best defender should normally be guarding ball. I’ve gon one 20+ theater or 3v3 pro am streaks shooting 80-100% from the three and field, then get in rec and can’t knock anything down.

My idea as someone who exclusively plays inside center. If you're open and I hit you pull it regardless of your % or how much you have. If you see me open I'll take it but I don't have to score if it's not in the flow. You should be comfortable playing off ball and sometimes that involves sitting corner you'll have your shot

I don't know..the 1st gameplay at the start of the 4th your boy was 2/6 fg and 0/3 3pt fg.. while your teammates were 5/8 combined from 3 and 9/14 overall .I think the SG wanted and expected to be more involved in the 4th. He was definitely doing his job as a solid random for the first 3 quarters.
The main issue with Random rec, is that there isn’t enough incentive to play good basketball and there isn’t enough punishment for playing bad basketball. Screw the 9000 new animations, the entire grading system needs to be reworked. We are literally almost to the point where we need to boot people out for making 3 bad plays. 3 bad plays and a boot, sounds a little extreme but when you look at vids like this, is it though?

The major problem with the rec is that minutes are restricted to 5 minutes per quarter but it still takes 6 fouls to foul out. It should be 3 max. I guarantee that if they were to do this it would cut down on the BS we have to put up with in the rec.
Me and my pg do it a lot but my sg has good strength so I can set good screens plus the pg and sg aren’t used to having to play good pnr defense so it’s effective but with randoms obviously I won’t do dat cause there’s no communication 😭
The problem with rec is that I feel like you be allowed to be in the rec with 85 or higher. People be coming in the rec with 60 ovr which crazy work. Also people don’t care if you win they care about the stats.

Other day I dropped 48 points on 17/21 shooting and I got blamed for us losing because they claimed couldn’t get in rhythm. Mind you they was passing me the ball the entire game. 2k Should’ve never made scoring 100k points a requirement for legend….for anything actually. That’s nearly 3x as much as the NBA’s all time scorer. My idea as someone who exclusively plays inside center. If you're open and I hit you pull it regardless of your % or how much you have. If you see me open I'll take it but I don't have to score if it's not in the flow. You should be comfortable playing off ball and sometimes that involves sitting corner you'll have your shot

I don't know..the 1st gameplay at the start of the 4th your boy was 2/6 fg and 0/3 3pt fg.. while your teammates were 5/8 combined from 3 and 9/14 overall .I think the SG wanted and expected to be more involved in the 4th. He was definitely doing his job as a solid random for the first 3 quarters.

The main issue with Random rec, is that there isn’t enough incentive to play good basketball and there isn’t enough punishment for playing bad basketball.

The new thing happening to me is when I pass to open players, they either don’t shoot it, or go to a dribble package and take the assist away. Or my favorite, I’ll catch somebody on a cut, they catch it and run straight back to the 3. Played a rec game as the pg and I didn’t touch the ball until 2 minutes in the 4th down 20. This shit well give you depression for real

The major problem with the rec is that minutes are restricted to 5 minutes per quarter but it still takes 6 fouls to foul out. It should be 3 max. I guarantee that if they were to do this it would cut down on the BS we have to put up with in the rec.

Other day I dropped 48 points on 17/21 shooting and I got blamed for us losing because they claimed couldn’t get in rhythm. Mind you they was passing me the ball the entire game. 2k Should’ve never made scoring 100k points a requirement for legend….for anything actually. That’s nearly 3x as much as the NBA’s all time scorer. It’s actually insane logic considering the game comes out EVERY year. And yes, people are going to be crashing out left n right. Idk how people don’t see that variable. Before the 100k points, people actually played different game modes, park was lit. That’s why it feels like the rec has been “invaded” & the park feels dead.
