Aftershock: GIANT INVERTED BOOMERANG - Silverwood, ID
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 жов 2024
- Aftershock Roller Coaster POV, Ultra HD 4K 2020, Front Side. Silverwood Theme Park and Water Park has the last remaining GIANT INVERTED BOOMERANG with Vekoma Trains in the USA. A surprisingly adrenaline-filled ride with smooth track, this ride really shocked me with how great it was, much better than the Six Flags New England copy with Premier trains, and extremely good compared to their regular boomerang ride models! The roller coaster still boasts its very visually-appealing original blue supports and green track color scheme.
Silverwood Amusement Park is located in Athol, Idaho and is the Pacific Northwest's largest park, with over 70 rides and attractions. #Silverwood #POV #RollerCoaster #Aftershock
Silverwood purchased the ride from Six Flags Great America in Gurnee Illinois for $3 Million dollars, and proved to be a great purchase because this is probably my favorite Vekoma in the USA! Silverwood also boasts the first RMC- topper track roller coaster in the World, Tremors.

Aftershock POV, 2020 On-ride front virtual ride POV, Silverwood Theme Park Boulder Beach. "At 191 feet, this beast is really two thrills in one because not only does it take you forwards through a cobra roll and inverted loop, but backwards as well!" -Silverwood
Love that “oh lord” at 1:58
And the scream afterwards
This ride looks identical to de javu that used to be a sixflags magic mountain a few years ago
Thats logan
@K Fox no its not his.
when you get dropped from heaven
2:03 most manly scream I’ve ever heard
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
He sounds like a cartoon character just hit their thumb with a hammer lol
That scream😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm cryin lmfao
I keep watching that part. Has me weak.
Which one lol
2:03 best part of the whole video lmfao
Kind of like Flanders.
I wanna ride this so bad. The fact that both drops are 100 percent straight down. Awesome af.
It's worth the trip, even being the "small" park it is. All the coasters rock, and the other rides aren't half bad either! I love that it's a small park actually, if you don't go on a weekend or holiday it's never a complete nightmare.
I went on it and it was so fun
The vertical lift hill looks more terrifying just waiting to fall.
Yeah it’s one of those coasters where the back is the best seat
@@joshuame1 I rode front row. It seems weird for a second but once it drops its great
Dave Norman yeah when it was at six flags magic mountain , they used to holds up there for a good minute sometimes before dropping, the feeling sucked kinda cause (at least for me) i had to push against restraint to keep my body just hanging in an uncomfortable position.
Ciao
Joshua Vazquez this is From six flags great America there magic mountain one is at six flags New England
I love how you can hear Logan talking and screaming in most of the video😂
Unusual for him! 😂
This is so terrifying, I can tell that even by just watching this video...
“Oh Lord”
“AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
😂😂😂😂😂 I couldn’t stop crying from laughing so hard
These coasters don't have any right being as good as they are. Shame there are only like... 5 in the whole planet.
Rode the one in Spain some years ago.
Stunt fall Vekoma 2002 Spain yes.
Here only 3 in the world
There’s *
@@acefist5502 where?
@@WUTANG1 this is silverwood in idaho.
Omg that scream going backwards I’m in tears 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭
That is the sound of the soul leaving the body! Holy shit!🤦♂️😭😂
So sad when this ride left SFGAm. I only got to ride 4-5 times over the years b/c it was always broken down. Such a thrill! Glad to see it still runs smooth.
I don't know how you did this, but this is one of the most beautiful POVs, for ANY coaster on UA-cam! Gorgeous!
This looks absolutely terrifying, especially going backwards off the vertical spike
too bad the Deja Vu version of this ride at SF Magic Mountain didn't last long because of too many breakdowns. I only got to ride it once.
How was it? Was it smooth?
I wish SF would have invested money in to Deja Vu! I loved that ride.
@@BrannanR it was awhile ago but I think it was smooth.
Deja Vu was an awesome ride. Still remember riding it at night was the best.
my only time on de ja vu was at night time. it was so fun
I used to operate this ride when it was at six flags great America,to bad you guys took our ride
I have been to Silverwood lots of times (it is my home park). This thing is so intimidating from the park, and even the road.
2:04 is a mood
Having to deal with 2020 has most people like: 2:03
God I miss this ride. Glad to see someone got it and is actually taking care of it. And kept the original trains.
2:03 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
XDDDDDDDDDDD
Not going to lie but that be me the same way 😂😂😂😂
2:02 the scream had me rollin'
0:33 i don't know why i laughed at this 🤣
Me too 😂😂😂😂
I was internally crying just watching this
Just Great To See The Seat Line Up That A Few B&M Hypers Have But Just On An Invert.
Yeah vekoma did a really good job on the trains
2:03 that SCREAM!
A type of ride where you want to get on at first but regret it once the ride starts to move!
Flashback 2005 deja vu. Now aftershock.
I didnt include goliath because of the premier rides trains
Best ever Vekoma boomerang
The water park is the best....Hot day, mountain snow water! Love it!!!
Holy macaroni this boomerang coaster is insane!
1:37 He almost touched the rail
No he didn’t... gp’s are too good
@@revenantsmum2140 He almost did it
Miguel Angel Armenta Leyva you honestly think he almost touched the rail..... As a coaster enthusiast, I can tell you he definitely didn’t
He didnt
@@ghostbustersghosts2103 But he almost Did
Deja Vu and this always have add that fear factor of you being in line for this ride and seeing the train going up and then zooms past the station at those fast speeds. It's breathtaking.
I've been riding coasters for 30 years and I swear they are getting crazier. 1990, a simple corckscrew was whiteknuckle. This looks insane 🙈
2:03 that scream 🤣🤣
OMG THAT SCREAM! OH LORD!!!!!!!!!
I remember when deja vu at sfga was finishing up construction and then released. I rode it once when I was 7 or 10. I'm 26 now. But man. I remember the insane weightless feeling in my stomach on this one, it way more intense than vertical velocity. But it a hell of a unique coaster no doubt. I was super lucky to ride it because it always kept breaking down and the lines were insane. Good times. 😊
Now that, looks like a "Balls to the walls" ride!
GONNA GET SOME SHOCKS AFTER AFTERSHOCK!
ONE TRAIN OPS!
As usual 😂😂
I’m british too and most parks are always on one train ops...
“Oh! Oh my god! JESUS!” 😂
Love the screaming🤣🤣
😂😂I can’t get over the screams
1:59-2:05 ...💀😂😭 I am dying with laughter!
I miss riding roller coasters 😭
What stopped you from ridding them?
Khari White COVID-19. All amusement parks are closed.
@@technic_angel ok. we lucked up out here, they opened six flags Great Adventure in New Jersey up until October Fright Fest
Khari White so lucky! Magic mountain probably won’t reopen til next year :(
😭😢
this ride is so damn awesome. went on it for the first time and the g forces on the firsr drop are intense af, this is so much fun
That's scream had me dead 🤣
I rode vertigo at kings island very similar except seats are facing each other. It's fun to watch the fear in other riders eye's.
This is a giant version of Invertigo.
One of the many reasons why I want to travel across the country to Silverewood.
Tried to ride the Giant Invereted Boomerang at SFOG when it first opened. Got there a little too early as it was still testing after some delays. Sadly, I never made it back to ride it.
It’s a great park, not very big but full of charm!
@@scotts7017 it’s pretty big brother
“Oh lord” 😂😂
I wouldn't be mad if Bush Gardens Tampa Bay could get this coaster in their line up of awsome coasters..😜🤪😜🤪 Looks like a clool ride😀
I don't think Vekoma manufactures these rides anymore as they're focusing on their new-gen rides
These things look insane
Wow, this ride is insane!!
I know its vekoma but bro thar first drop is one of the best ones ive experienced
It's like a mixture of a free fall tower and a roller coaster
Love this ride it’s a must do when going to Silverwood
I rode this 9 times last summer this place is so much fun
Fave pov ever
You know you're in a stressful situation when you suddenly call for the holy ghost...
those look huge and terrifying and fast asf boiii
Damn this looks sick! I definitely would ride it. I’d ride any coaster in the world after riding kingda ka
Fury 325?
omg ! Jesus! then oh lord ! epic and accurate 😩😂😂😂 this looks intense & awesomely scary !
This video actually gives the ride justice all the others make it look meh but it’s truly scary
Wow! There is not a lot of time once the coaster gets up the towers. It’s almost an immediate reverse.
I love Silverwood
I never heard of an INVERTED boomerang, it looks very intense. Wow!
Inverted boomerangs include coasters like Invertigo at King's Island.
The inverted boomerang deserves more love.
my favorite roller coaster in the whole world 🥰
Those screams would be my exact reaction if I ever had the balls to ride this thing
They have one of these at Six Flags New England, they are so much fun.
I want to ride this now! This is a great video.
Wow this puts a regular boomerang to shame. That was even better inverted.
2:02 hahahahaha wtf 😂😂🤯
The scream though 😩😩😩😩😂😂😂😂
Wow insane dude
I've seen this before it's at silverwood in Idaho
I’m from Nashville Tennessee and I wish Six Flags Atl kept De Ja Vu it’s pandanomium now
I am genuinely curious as to why they make the seating different from a standard inverted coaster such as Silver bullet from Knotts or the Batman ride from Six Flags Magic Mountain. Is there some kind of different physics involved?
Well silver bullet is B&M which make their trains usual style. Vekoma I guess wanted to make something different and appealing to the eye hence the staggered trains
This almost looks like the Deja Vu that used to be at Six Flags Great America years ago
Fabulous video. Feel like I’m right there with you!!!!!🙀
Yeaaa silver wood up in there game
2:03 be me falling into 2020 lol
0:27 who else thought they were gonna come off the track 😂
This is the most popular gp comment I hear lmaoooo
Nobody did....
OMG was that intense!!!!!!’
I miss Deja Vu at SFMM. One of the best rides ever, even if it was down a lot.
Right after the scream I almost said “I feel good”
The scream!!!!!!!💀💀💀💀💀💀😭😂
This ride looks awesome.
Looks like a badass ride
The only vekoma trains to look like B&M
The cobra roll on these Giant Inverted Boomerangs look more like Sea Serpent rolls
I don't hear you guys scream very often on a coaster, but you sure did here🤣 Must be quite a ride, never rode it myself at SW because it was way too scary.
Incredible speed!!
Esta atracción está en Parque Warner Madrid hace más de 10 años...
This is making me sad because I live 2.5 hours away from six flags New England and I’m one of the only weirdos that likes Goliath (their giant inverted boomerang with awful premier trains) and none of the parks I have been to near me are open
(Alexa play despacito)
I wish Magic Mountain kept Deja Vu. I miss this model.
YO I LOVE thISS!!!!!!
I read your video description, and I gotta clarify that Tremors only has two very small sections that have RMC's topper track. I wish they had done the whole coaster to bring it back to it's former glory.
That scream tho at 2:05
@ the guy in the front who kept almost losing an arm 🙃
Wow 😳
