I remember finding out about it with my brother, where the video was also used as a music video in a much more unsettling tone for the song "I'm the Devil" by Clams Casino. All around the video is just straight unsettling due to the nature of it and the uncanny faces of the monkey masks.

Psychology student here! The Gumby guy seems to have a type of brain damage possibly caused by a stroke or accident (probably on the Wernicke's or Broca area) because of the way he talks and tries to communicate. When the Wernicke or Broca area are damaged, people can perfectly read and understand others, but have problems to comunicate themselves; not being able to talk propperly or have propper body language. I think the Gumby guy does this as for fun or as a coping mechanism, and honestly I don't have a problem with that.

I love Ratafak Platcha! I believe the full story is: Ratafak Platcha (Nosey Blankets) originated from the Czechoslovakian puppet show Slineco (I think I spelled that right) and partially destroyed communism. After the show ended he got thrown into a dumpster where two guys found him and made silly videos, either that or they made their own puppet, I believe they made him run for president in 2008 or something. Anyway, Ratafak is 6-7 foot tall and has 4 legs, he was silly and curious and often needed correction from the other hosts. You can tell the unoffical Ratafak videos by his gloves, he wears *red* gloves in official Slienco media (aside from, I think, an award show) but has *white* gloves in unoffical media like the vidro in this video

I believe the full story is: Ratafak Platcha (Nosey Blankets) originated from the Czechoslovakian puppet show Slineco (I think I spelled that right) and partially destroyed communism. After the show ended he got thrown into a dumpster where two guys found him and made silly videos, either that or they made their own puppet, I believe they made him run for president in 2008 or something.
Anyway, Ratafak is 6-7 foot tall and has 4 legs, he was silly and curious and often needed correction from the other hosts. You can tell the unoffical Ratafak videos by his gloves, he wears *red* gloves in official Slienco media (aside from, I think, an award show) but has *white* gloves in unoffical media like the vidro in this video
