The reason I am convinced it was harry he was looking at is, the songs that he was singing when he was looking up and the look he was giving the person that he was looking at, it was the look he gives to harry.
At first, I thought he was looking at a camera, but nobody looks at a camera so many times and with so much love. He has to be more mainstream for their sake(not that it's a bad thing, I love Harry). Louis is relatively small and us louies are a really close knit community and I don't want that to change, but I also want people to recognize him for the genius he is.

I feel like this is just about Louis though.. the music industry is toxic whether or not you're closeted and you don't know until you're in it. Everything is controlled by your team bc they want to present a certain image and I think he's trying to tell others that they're not alone. Also it's interesting that the first song we hear from him after he left Syco is about the toxicity of the music industry and how your freedom can be stolen.
Another note: The piano entrance of Copy of a Copy of a Copy sounds exactly like SOTT, and the guitar buildup sounds like the buildup in SOTT. Lou here sings something along the lines of "Dry your tears", Harry sings "just stop your crying". I understand SOTT is about a mother dying giving birth, but Lou made some very interesting musical choices.

I came here after watching his performance in a video , and I thought about the H shirt , how he kept on looking up specially during songs which are loud af and also there was a 28 written in a cloth in his drums .......
This song is so overdue and I'm both sad and happy that Louis had to write it he's opening his heart and his message is strong and clear and thanks to Louis for getting that message out there and for willing to stand up and be counted.

The look Lou was giving to this person, whoever they are *wink wink* is so full of love. I remembered during Habit, the last chorus "You're the shiver I can't shake", he was looking at that person as if they were the beginning and the end of earth or something, it's amazing. And I also don't think it's a coincidence that he only look at that specific spot for all of the well known to be Larry songs, and you can clearly see during Habit, Always you, DLIBYH, Too young. This can't be something I imagined, that has to be someone important to him, and no matter if it's Harry or not, heck, he looked so damn happy, and for that I really thank that person.
But still, he has only ever looked at Harry that way tho, so if you connect the dots 🤷♀️
And the new song is amazing, but I don't think I can be too surprise with how good his songs are now, cuz they'll always be awesome. I do think he really found his ground with this one, it's really indie rock just the way he likes it, I also think the song is about the media's big wig control over something of his, either his artistic identity / persona, or closeting him, maybe it's related to the closeting experience due to the 'glass' bit that he and Harry is so obsessed with (I mean, what a oddly specific, coincidental thing to be so visually obsessed about, with it relating to queer history/slang and all). But whatever it is, it's so incredibly brave of him to sing about his struggle with S*CO, so fresh outta the wound. Every time I think of the fact that he fought for years, holding his spite for them just to recently won the legal battle, and he done all that in the shadows, I get so emotional. He'd come so far, and I think we're all so proud of him right now.

In Louis's song 'Just Like You', he sings "I wanna lay where she lays," a lot of Larries say in the music video it looks like the newspapers are made to say 'sHe' so like: "I wanna lay where sHe (he) lays," but I think differently. I feel like saying "I wanna lay where she lays" feels like he wants to lay in the place of 'her' (whoever she is.) so he wants to lay somewhere that she is laying. He's jealous of her and want's to be in the place that she is. To replace her. In this situation, he could be talking about a girl who is laying with a bi girl that he wants to be with, or there could be a girl laying with a guy, and he wants to take the place of that girl. That's just what I thought it sounded like. And when Larries started seeing sHe I got confused. Honestly, it could be either of the theories or none at all. Just my take on it :)

This is a nice theory a very possible one :) Also if Louis is really annoyed by the Larry rumors he could have worn a different shirt when he is well aware that people will read into it. Yeah, I feel like he wrote the song for ~2012 Louis? But then I feel like it's kinda negative, like he takes the position management, telling his younger self how he needs to suck it up and deal with the fact that he can't be a not straight singer in a boy band. So it's definetly a really sad song to me.

Did anyone notice in the upper left hand corner on the definition of glass closet page that it says 'titanticforthefirsttime' and 'skepticalarrie' underneath it? I actually heard this song on UA-cam today and cried. They showed lyrics and played the song but that was it. It didn't show the concert. I'm so sad. Louis hasn't acted silly in a million years. His smile doesn't reach his eyes anymore. I hope that he knows that he has millions of fans who support him and love him. I could listen to his voice all day.
