So, we've proved ourselves to Duo and he lets us pass to the controls. But it's too heavy for Mega Man to move. Meanwhile, people are beginning to panic because of the impending meteor, not giving a damn about what Mega Man is doing. At least until Sal (or Match on Red Sun) comes in and gives them a verbal beat down, and then cheering on Mega Man from the top of their lungs. This causes everyone else to start doing the same thing, all across the world, with some exclusive characters showing up depending on the version. But, before we can get that inspirational second wind, the connection to Mega Man is severed as a cable snaps on the laser. Regal, with what little kindness there is in him, volunteers to act as a router for the connection, taking on who knows how man volts of electricity and somehow living. Back on the meteor, Mega Man is still having trouble moving the controls, but thanks to the combined inspiration of all the people in the world, as well as Lan an Mega Man going Full Synchro, the controls are moved, and the meteor changes course. Earth is saved. But there's still the matter of Regal, who after giving a big speech on hypocrisy, jumps off the NAXA building to what seems like his doom. But it doesn't appear so as his body was never found. Afterwards, Lan and Mega Man are celebrated as heroes back in Netopia, with the crowd wanting to see some of their Netbattle techniques, including some familiar faces. They happily oblige, and then the credits roll.
So that's the main story, but as most of you know, we are far from done here. Because unlike every other game in the series, Battle Network 4 requires you to play through the game multiple times to get everything. So we'll be going through the game again, but I'll be leaving out everything we've already seen before. So it'll basically just be tournament scenarios from now on until we get to the post-game. I'll also be showing all the new contents of the Mystery Data as well as they change for each level of New Game +. __

This scene still makes me tear up. I remember my first time beating golden Duo.
7:04 Sadly what Duo said didn't happen during Star Force..
Like him coming back to judge the earth.
Maybe he came AFTER all Star Force events and saw an improvement. Maybe he then just passed by.
@@joseluismezagarcia.7524 or maybe he came back before starforce is 200 years ahead of battle network so he could have come back inbetween starforce and battle network
night shroud96 it needed too though
It would have been interesting to see him come back in starforce
Wouldve been interesting if Duo was in it in starforce 4 but sadly game was cancelled :(
Megaman never gives up like a soldier.
Just like a war in history.
anyone talking about how regal really said "I'd die rather than get arrested"
He literally took LowTierGod's advice to heart
Power of fucking friendship saves the fucking day, as usual
Can't have a MMBN game without some shoehorned power of friendship stuff.
6:59 and that my friends is how there a reason Meteor G was gonna hit the planet once 200 years after.
Seperate meteor from duos,
been cool if he return in mmsf4 but that game got scrapped.
Chauds reaction time was slow at the end compared to lans
So I decided to mute the audio for the game and put on I don't wanna miss a thing. Best decision I've ever made.
Would you consider doing the "Django the solar boy" games? Theyre only in Japanese, but with some research you could learn the controls.
only game 3 is japanese only. 1, 2, and Lunar Knights for the DS are all available in english.
Lan destroyed a Navi that didnt know whats gojng on?
Yeah I'm surprised too. I'm gonna check it out on previous game plays.
@@Gazing-09 I belive Regal might be referring to Aquaman/Number man/Gutsman/Fireman when Darksoul megaman possessed them during the eagle/falcon tournament
@@256starlight nope, he refers when he fought a guard navi of Castillo
@@lynk172 but that Navi was out cold. I was like who did he delete that didn't deserve it.
Mmbn5 is sequel to mmbn4?
Yes
No it’s the sequel to halo
This is even better if you mute the game and put on "Don't wanna miss a thing" by arrow-smith.
I like the ending of this game, I never had the chance to play BN for myself, and I haven't watched 5 and 6 yet, but this just might be the weakest story in this series. Pretty much that annoying tournament arc that comes up midway through an anime season. At least, that's my opinion :|
Tournament arcs are way better in anime. BN 3's tournament was way better.
Have you seen 5 now? THAT has the weakest story. I can't believe what they did to Regal.
@@CountShaman BN series don't have good story in general it's always good vs evil and good always prevail. What sells the franchise was the gameplay. Even it's 6th and final game story suck.
@@BlossomPathOnStage15 Straightforward good vs evil story is not a bad thing and never is. Not every story needs morally grey bullshit. Battle Network's story has always has the charm of simplicity to it, while still being consistent and coherent with its worldbuilding and continuity. BN5 forgoes that by breaking continuity with Princess Pride and Regal's character, as well as portraying Lan as a forgiving idiot who lets someone who tried to kill his friends get off scot free.
@@chrismason1530tournament arcs can work if you link them up to the main threat of the game. Like in one anime I watch there was a syndicate pulling the strings in the tourney and have been using it as a ploy to power up their own organizations ends.
