It's the guy from the video
Rat Man!
This was great sausage talk
It's Ratyboy's best friend, Eric!

Great discussion. I'm an Eric Baudour guy
Yeah, Eric Baudour? Good guy.
@@dallasfilmcommission OH, Great guy
He rules
“Jack of all trades, master of none” some would say he is actually a master of creating the most unhinged content on this site.
He quickly became a prominent figure for rt. It was almost as if he was always there.
This was a great installment of sausage talk, thanks Eric and regulation crew!
We accidentally made a non-regulation Sausage Talk
I love this so much 😂@dallasfilmcommission
Eric Barad-dûr, the absolute tower of podcasts that he is.
this is the funniest comment on this thread, jesus
Anyone who hasn’t listened to F**k Face or Regulation podcast should do so. The best and funniest podcast out there. If you haven’t listened you are missing out, give it a try.
Listen to facejam (RIP) listen to 100% eat
@@Yash-hr3uv "I used to listen to facejam"
@@Yash-hr3uv facejam is great too. This podcast and regulation podcast, best there is. I’m telling you. You don’t listen, you’re missing out and it’s your problem.

This poor innocent podcast...
We will never be the same.
Love how Zimmer is over looking Eric, watching out for him.
At first I thought The Babadour appeared on my home page, but to my relief it was just Eric. Love that guy and all he does🎉
Eric is such a super talented producer, and its great to see the Dallas Film Commission interviewing him. He really understands the natures of his different shows and how to add to them pre, post, and during the production and its really inspiring as a fellow creative in the industry
Absolutely! That's why I reached out to him personally about interviewing him. He's absolute force of nature in this industry.
43:52 leads to the best description of listening to Andrew, Gavin & Geoff do a podcast😁
Eric's got ferret experience.
Eric is one of the best in the game. He’s playing chess while others are playing checkers
Eat the pencil Andrew
still praying for that pencil to be eaten soon
@@dallasfilmcommission Does this podcast make you a regulation commenter?
Eric rules. Listen to 100% Eat. Listen to The Regulation Podcast. He does so much to make those go and I appreciate it.
Regulation Comment Leaving patron checking in. Let’s all do dishes and listen to the adds so that Bean Hole Days can enjoy the crossover of 100% Eat and Reg. Pod going to compete in their first official bean off.
We already got the crossover on the f**kface "Silly Straw Drink Race". Sorry dude. That's all you get.
Eric comparing the Regulation Crew to a tub of ferrets is crraaazy yet so spot on lmao
I have no idea why the algorithm showed this to me but I'm glad it did!
Listen to Regulation Podcast. Seriously.
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope by now you're at least a regular listener. If not, the algorithm failed you.
To Eric’s point about wanting to surf instead of pick, he’s right, that’s the entire business model of TikTok, UA-cam shorts and Instagram reels!
#1 Raty Boy fan
I was not familiar with this interview series or the Dallas film commission, but I clicked on this video since I am a fan of Eric, however I am so pleasantly surprised with how substantive this interview was, not just the same statements I’ve heard a thousand times in industry conversations. Thank you for the putting on a good show, I’m gonna tune in for the next one just because of how well the interview was conducted.
Thank you so much!
Considering Eric is always dealing with both the FaceJam madness AND and chaos of F*ckface, this is probably the sanest podcast conversation Eric has had in years.
I came for Eric, stayed for DFC.
Great interview and I like your format. First time viewer and new subscriber
Hey thank you so much!
Barndoor as a guest, awesome! I'm 100% going to enjoy this very regulation interview.
Didn’t expect to see the spice rat around here!
Amazing talk, what really sold me on Eric was him in a podcast cutting time out of that podcast episode, explain to the listeners on the issues of supply, ecommerce, and how he handled the communication of like 5 different departments. I work in ecommerce, it's my field, and it's 5 different people telling you, at times different information, and navigating the social connection is huge. Him explaining, "Look, I'm sorry, the audience this happened, we will do better." It really showcase how hard to general people putting something online is, it's not a simple "I press button." Its date, time, content, price, inventory, all set up. Also, ayyy, Toledo, Franklin park mall now has the smell of a dozen other chains
Eric is awesome
He's pretty cool
He's pretty cool
9:00 this right here is the best way ive ever heard it described, that time period on the internet was insanely fresh and ready to mold
Eric is such a delightfully silly and hilarious content producer. the second he introduces himself im already laughing. Super cool to see him outside of the new podcast space.
It's interesting to observe how Eric's volume directly correlates with his excitement, and not just his irritation.
Totally agree with Eric. Everyone talks about how Roosterteeth was dying since like 2016. But that is not true the company was exploding with tons of shows, talent, live performances, etc at that time. Only possible because of the buyout. They died as a result of covid. Being forced to stay home for years allowed a lot of people to get into creating content and it made it hard for RT to stand out with how big they were.
These guys being independent really was like letting the leash off a rabid animal. Eric seems like he's ready to run wild and is very enthusiastic for the future for the channels he's helping with. As a long time fan of RT, i cant wait to see what happens for them.
I watched this after an episode of Buffy so the random Buffy shout out was perfect timing.
We need more Eric Weeks
Heck yeah. Great discussion. Eric (AKA Benedict Judas) was my favorite part of RT's podcast side after Burnie.
Very interesting point about channel surfing. He’s absolutely right.
After this episode, I will be listening to this podcast going forward. Going on an overseas vacation and this podcast is on my playlist for the plane. Love this.
In here for Eric 😊
No idea why this is in my feed but I see Eric, I thumbs up
It's great to see Eric be a guest on a podcast that he doesn't produce, Great interview too. 🎉
Thank you!

Such an insightful interview and love to hear Eric talk about his journey and experience in the industry
@ericbaudour is such an amazing podcast guest. I could listen to a 2 hour version of this.
Good to see Eric getting some deserved credit. I feel like for everything everyone knows about what he does, he still goes not fully noticed. Love you Eric!!
The Beanhole explanation is the most normal explanation of The Regulation Podcast I have ever heard.
Did him dirty by not removing the flub on the 100percenteat plug
the one and only gooch pooch himself 😍
I had no clue that fast-forwarding through the ads doesn't get them paid. Definitely gonna start listening to them!
Is that actually the case? I figured Eric meant that people who don't skip the ads are slightly more likely to actually buy the product, which gets the podcasts more money through their discount (referral) codes. Considering that podcasts can be listened to entirely offline, I don't imagine there's an algorithm that checks whether you skip through ads, but I could be wrong.
I don't think purely listening to the ads is what generates the income either. Its using the referral link they are given through the sponsorship, gives them a portion of the funds of the sales done using that link if my understanding is correct. And I would be hopeful they at least get some sort of flat rate for doing the promotion at all, but idk.
Cool still going to skip
@@canadianmoth cool, who asked?

Tony responding here. I spent a lot of time at Franklin park mall as a kid! I even worked at NRM record store there back in the day.
It’s still going strong! This was so cool to hear, thanks for the response!

god damn Eric's great
Big dogs gotta eat!
Love Eric Baudour, the original California cute boy!
Big fan of eric badour.
Aric barndoor
I could make a series of Regulation references but instead I will say that this was a very good interview and it was interesting to hear Eric's perspective on the RoosterTeeth case. The audience demands innovation but the audience hates change, that makes running a collection of media channels hard.
he also played rat daddy in the hit webseries "abandonware"
Damn, eric was nearly within striking distance of being a professional guest with no feral energy, but alas he couldnt help himself from inquiring if the commisioner had been indoctrinated by the BK apologists.
No but seriously given the current podcast zeitgeist Eric might be one of the best producers to talk to. After he established himself at RT and paid his dues, rt went from having 3 or so podcasts (being talk shows for the most popular sects of Live Action and Acheivement Hunter, as well as a improv gameshow) to idk 5+ podcasts with hosts who had tried and true engaging chemistry talking about whatever the two (or more) were interested in.
Everyone talks about supporting talent after RT was terminated (which absloutely yes please do) but i also know that whatever Eric and Patrick Salazar (Director of RT's Broadcast dept.) do next are going to be worth watching.
I loved the streaming services and cutting cable when it was maybe 2-3 main platforms. Now its 20 different platforms and every network thinks they should have their own platform. It went from $40-$50 a month for cable, to $80-$100+ if you want to watch all the things you want. It’s insane.
aw, he didn't do the four hour drive to Dallas to do the podcast in person
This was great, Eric is an awesome dude.
Thank you!
22:00 I definitely agree with this. I struggle to binge watch things, but one episode a week of something I can do easily. Keeping up with things weekly also adds to the excitement in my opinion, too.
This is how anime has been doing it since the beginning (one episode per week), although nowadays some series are uploaded all at once to Netflix or whatever other platforms. But a large portion of anime are still broadcast on TV, and even if they're available for streaming, TV takes priority in Japan (as far as I understand it) so they've largely stuck with the weekly episode business model.
Great episode!
Thanks!
Personally eric is the best thing that has happened to the people i like to watch he is honestly a genius and funny as hell
We really are just following Eric everywhere.
New regulation saying. "I'm going to McDonald's" will now be known as "I'm rolling the dice"
I love your McD's story. That is awesome.
I do like how the guys talk about their SOs ❤
