Only realised through watching this that the sprocket comes off without removing bearing retainer haha cheers. For the record how the hell do you remove the rear bearing retainer? Mine has only gone a quarter anti and will go no further. I’ve ruined it now I’m in the crap
@@taylor-madebuiltbyjack3233 I’ve been hammering it anti as was told mine was a ‘normal’ thread. 1975 cb500 has no arrow on the retainer. Did yours have an arrow?

Just heat and a good punch, the retaining ring is reverse threaded so try going the other way 🤘🏻

@@garageowns9784 I couldn’t tell you if there was an arrow to hand, but in the 2 I’ve done it needed A LOT of heat to get it going
