Good looking knife. I have never really liked the Russlock pattern, but it is always fun to check out a new pattern. Happy Birthday and have a great weekend.
I really dig the looks of that one and in CS!! Your Case collection has to be huge by now brother!! I have a 2001 model in Vintage bone Miss Sara got me as a gift new back then. They are a bit different but mine is built exceptionally well, no gaps and down broadway. Big Red went thru a complete fiasco with his, was crazy. Thanks for sharing this!!
My box of Case Boxes is over flowing Jerry!! Glad you got a good one!! I will keep this but not sure how many I will get unless i find a good drop point version! Thanks for checking it out Jerry!
Cool. Well when yah have lots of the same pattern it can be nice to try 1 new one. Funny thing is this is a pattern that RR doesnt even do. So hard to find a budget option to try it out
@@BaxtersBlades I have come close to purchasing one a few different times and always found something else that changed my mind. I will eventually get one. Hopefully I can find one in the Pocket Worn Red bone.
I really like the pocket worn grey bone too. I have the canoe,Sodbuster Jr, Barlow ,and tribal lock in that bone. That is definitely a unique pattern. Thanks for showing it.
Happy Birthday, Brother. I never had any interest in the Russlock, but I love Pocket Worn Case knives the best. The Grey Pocket Worn is nice. Maybe a Stockman or Mini Trapper would be the way to go for me.
Id definitely see if you can pick one up in person. You may find a perfect one, but expect to pay almost 80 to 100 depending. Or do what i did and roll the dice.
yeah who cares ? Amazon has Victorinox Huntsman's for $33 and that is insane. SAK's are still generally still the best bang for the buck and best warranty in the business and the QC is unreal. I don't know how they do it. Just keep doing it
This reminded me I got to get some more case back into rotation. Great looking knife growing up we only had case trappers. So the trappers always have a place in my mind. Great collection!
I love the Case trappers. Ive got 10 and 10 mini trappers they really are the beez kneez. But wanted to try something different. Thank you for watching!
I kind of wish they were not liner locks. You dont need it with holding the flipper down when open. My straight razor doesnt have a lock. Thank you Radar!
Dude i have to get a Gray bone pattern. They all look great to me i love the color of the different grays that you see. Sometimes a lot of blues in them which i love. Beautiful knife brother those covers are insanely cool imo. Thanks for sharing this one.
Beautiful knives buddy! I have a couple of the Ruslocks one is a clip, the other a beautiful drop point with canvas micarta handles . They are definitely a bit different.
I have had 3 Russlocks and returned every one. They all rubbed hard on the liner. By hard I mean scraping sounds. In the end I gave up on them. I have liner locks from Cold Steel and Rough Ryder that are centered. There is no excuse for it. Most liner lock and frame lock moderns are also centered?
Just recently I watched a video from The Knife Dr. going to find some unbelievable clearance deals at Walmart on knives so I tagged along with my daughter to go get trash bags and paper towels so I went over to the knife display case and I didn’t see anything so I walked away but my daughter went looking for me and when I got back to the display Case she had the salesman had everything out of case and there was only 3 USA made knives and 2 @$9.00 1@$30.00 so I got 3 absolutely amazing pieces. But thank you so much for your support and your kind comments and your friendship Yes it was a pawnshop find. Certainly an interesting looking knife. Gives me early version Woody Woodpecker vide. Really like the handle material. The Grey Bone is classy looking.
Great looking 👀 Gray Bone 🦴 Case. Extremely slicey looking blade for sure. I love seeing your collection Baxter, amazing 👏👍. And Man O Man Case just enjoys giving us Heartburn ❤️🔥 with there F&F !!!! Definitely a crapshoot when we all purchase one !!!!
Straight digging that slip man. I too have yet to get a russlock. Great review. Ill have to grab one for sure. I dont really know why the russlocks are so expensive
I love the Russlock and I am boring I love that Gray bone!! Very thin stock, this is my jam for traditionals. I got that little bit of wobble on both of mine also, I kind of think that is just how they are but idk for sure. Nice video Bax 👍😻
There is movement in those, most are like that tbh , everyone i have seen have been like that, its the mechanism i believe, not a deal breaker for me,love dem Knives.
I really like gray bone. Have 2 RCB in gray bone. Pocket worn is very nice. Just got a sky blue trapper and the texture of the bone is quite rough. Not sure about that style of knife. Especially with the issues this one can have. “Tested XX” 😂🤣😂
Just pocket drop you sky blue for a few years and it will be pocket worn Raybo! I hear you. Makes for a good grip though. Pocket worn gets a nice shine!
@@BaxtersBlades I always wash my knives in Dawn and go over the bone with a soft tooth brush. Surprisingly it is smoother. Not pocket worn but smoother. The color even looks better. Maybe some polishing compound in the jigging.
Did you watch my Russlock video by chance? I think it’s neat but definitely not very practical- the mid folding Hunter is a much better one handed option imo. Stay well buddy and thanks
Good looking knife. I have never really liked the Russlock pattern, but it is always fun to check out a new pattern. Happy Birthday and have a great weekend.
Variety ia the spice of life! Thank you so much Stan!
Some great looking knives right there! Love the gray bone! Good job!

Its no barlow thats for sure. Unique knife! Thanks Jeff!
@@BaxtersBlades no it's not but is still pretty neat. You're welcome.
Nice looking Russlock Andrew. I really like the gray bone, Case just makes it look good. And CS, heck yeah.👍👍👍🇺🇲
It is cool Steve! Thank you!
I hadn’t realized they were liner locks. It’s a beautiful looking knife. Happy cake day tomorrow!

@@BaxtersBlades I thought the same
I love that weird, wonderful, Woody Woodpecker knife! That’s a beauty Andrew. Those are just plain cool! 👍👍
Happy Saturday! Cheers, RW
Its woody wood pecker for sure RW! Thank you!
I have a few russlocks. One being Giraffe bone.

Looks pretty nice! Great addition!
I think so too! Had to try one! Thanks Randy!

Thank you so Much Ryan!! Wish my large trapper was also lighter color. Its a great CS series.
Awesome knife I like the pocket worn series and the russlock
Very cool!

Yes i hear you Ken! I will keep this one as a reminder to never get another! Lol! Way overpriced. At least i got a carbon steel one to peel apples😂
Great looking knife brother. I think the linerlock throws the blade off alot. Have a wonderful evening brother
I think so too Jason! Thank you!

Thanks for the look. I have been curious about this pattern.
They make these in a drop point blade that is kind of cool
Your bone is very good on it
Very hard to find a drop point. But they are very cool looking.

😂🤣 Now I can’t get Woody out of my head.😂
I like the gray bone but I don’t think the Russ lock is for me. We all like different things. Thanks for showing it to us.
Wish they didnt have the lock and it would be cooler. Thanks for checking it out Chris. Had to try 1.

Yah. I still love them. Something must be wrong with me. But when you get a good one... As Terry would say. You can hear the angels singing!!
Shepherd Hills has carbon steel ones in yellow composite for under 70 bucks.
Very cool! I do prefer bone and am glad i gotta Carbon blade! Thanks Kenneth!
Very nice knife
Its kind of cool Roger! I find my self fidgeting with it. Lol! Thank you!

Oh man i like the Russlock
