However, I've since had a change of heart. My kids are older now and as much as I love the versatility of a minivan, I'm now getting 35 mpg in a sedan. lol
Thank you. For the front door lights, it's actually easier just push on the bottom and the casing will pop out. Be careful about the 2nd row and 3rd row lights as they recess too much so you may need a plier to pull it out but not so hard as to break the bulb. Ask me how I know. :p
Just completed this upgrade in a 2006 Odyssey. When the main switch is in the “DOOR” position and all doors are closed, it takes a long time for the lights to turn off. Any recommendations so the lights have the regular time to turn off? Thank you in advance.
I find white a bit harsh to the eye. Color Rendering Index not that good too. In my Nissan Rogue 2016 I chose 4000k PHILLIPS and its also happens to be same color temperature as front factory LED dome light. And did the same with cargo light 31mm Philips 4000k. Great work. Wish you tell us how did you get the nismo badging for your Pathfinder?

Looking good...keep them coming Mr. 2fast....a nice cheap upgrade for any 2018-2019 odyssey owner, however i am debating this upgrade just for the fact i am kinda digging the warm stock look on the interior during the nightime atm (i may wake up one day and do this mod though)..obviously everything on the exterior of my odyssey is led all the way since day 1.
Yeah, I don't know why people want cool white. I'm going to try some larger RV-style light panels mounted on the ceiling. I want lots of (warmish) light when I'm looking for something at night. Hopefully 1A current draw tied into an existing light won't blow the fuse.

Been a fan of your videos especially about the Pathfinder. Any way you could show us how to install chrome side mirrors covers!? I've seen them on ebay but not sure how it will look because its an over the original cover installment wonder if its worth it doing it. Keep up the good work my friend! With those mirror covers, it's usually held in place with 3M double sided tape. So it just sticks on the original mirror. Those tape are very strong and won't fall off.
I did something similar in my Tucson, but i sometimes get led flicker on the dome and map lights. Not sure what causes it, don't know if it's a loose connection.

@@dial2fast Have u had any issues with the infotainment system? The dealership had it in shop for 18 days... Replaced the entire front display in front of driver, the center infotainment system and the rear infotainment system. While they had it the tech damaged the driver side tires and the front driver side wheel. Along with the center plastic piece below the center display. Ugh!!!
@@intowndan I have not had any issue with the infotainment system. I have taken my family in the van to several long road trips and used the DVD / monitor along with GPS, and listening MP3. Have not had any issues. Sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately crap like that can happen whenever someone else works on your car. Hope they get everything fixed up for you.

I just upgraded my entire car with LED inside and outside added an Auxbeam Lightbar in behind the front grill and a smaller one underneath the Rare bumper. that will only activate when the car is n reverse and I hold down a momentary switch at the same time. Now I can use My Reverse Camera even in the darkest of places. And the front LED bar will make oncoming traffic turn down the high beam in case they forget I just give them a small reminder. works every time. and if they don't get the hint. ill make Night into day!
I tried this on my 19 elite front seat map and door lights work great. The second row these lights are to long and the lens will not go on all the way and the on of function will not work correctly because the lens hits the bulb. Can these lights be trimmed ?
@@tmank87 yes I did just trim the male end. The lights I had bought had 3 devided sections. I just took some side cutters and trimmed one section at a time tell it fit. I can not remember if it was one or two. Sorry.

This generation of Odyssey already has LED license light. Unfortunately it's an off white color, but there is nothing you can change.

I agree. While the upgrade gives brighter light, I would prefer warm tungsten lighting. The LED color temperature is cold feeling.

First check your owner's manual as there should be a section on the bulbs in your car. If unsure, pop the lens off and see what bulb is used.

It can be loose connection or one of the LED chip on the bulb is dying which causes flickering.

If you mean all the lights are not coming on now. Check the fuse for the interior lights, it might have blown a fuse.

Are these all dimmable?
The LEDs are not dimmable, but the original interior lighting dims by reducing voltage. With the LED, they do go dim a bit and turn off.

How many interior lens did you break during this procedure?
And why would anyone be breaking them? Use a plastic pry tool, not a sledge hammer.

Door light, hold the the bottom and slide upwards. No tool needed.
